Many artist have performed this song and there have been many versions of this song but for me this performance from Morissette really brought out the true meaning of what the song is all about. To worship the Lord while singing is the ultimate show of your faith to Christ. There was no bells and whistles this time around. There was just a cry of love to Lord Jesus and she sang this from her ❤️. Just perfect!

Every year I listen to this version and I am reminded that Morissette is not just singing Christmas music but proclaiming the birth of our Christ the Lord. I heard it awhile back that what is different here is not only the style of the music but the verses sung are not what we typically hear during this season; hence, it sounds like hearing it for the first time. This is so magnificent that I believe it will become a timeless rendition of this traditional Christmas music which people will look for in years to come.
I honestly think that when anyone talks about angels singing in heaven, this right here, Morissettes voice is what you hear.

This is completely a different version, which is very remarkable! Beautiful tones, long controlled high and low notes , and the instrumentals, the stage arrangements, and lighting behind her, portrays like she an angel, I mean wow, I can listen to this version any time of the year , love it !

This is closer to the original song as all the others, your used to the Mariah Version which Mori has sung as well many times, the instrument arrangement is different but she is singing the full text.
