LEGO Boeing B-52 "Stratofortress"

- This is a replica of a b-52H stratofortress. This model features retractable landing gear, working flaps, full interior and much much more. It is able to keep itself together on its landing gear and its outriggers don’t even touch the ground. I have also fully tiled this entire model since it appeared last on beyond the brick.
The b-52 first went into service in 1952 and still remains in service to this day. The b-52 has been revised over the years with each model being more advanced than the last. This particular b-52 is a b-52 H which means that it is the most recent model of b-52. The b-52 was originally designed as a replacement for the older b-47 stratojet which I plan on making. The USAF have tried to replace the b-52 multiple times and most notably with the b-1A project but that proved to be to costly and with the development of new misses the b-1A program was scrapped. The b-52 went on to be the backbone of the USAF and now works alongside the reintroduced b-1b.

You replied pretty quickly, also I can see why... one question and that is how much did it cost you to build the b-29 and how long?
The silver b-29 was built over many years in order to be able to collect those silver pieces but I would say it was somewhere around 500$. It took so long though so I don’t really know.

I spent 6 years turning wrenches on these aircraft down at Barksdale as a Crew chief, and I gotta say man this is quite amazing and very accurate. The level of detail you put into this build is tremendous. I am especially impressed with how you have the landing gear operate exactly how they perform in real life. Great work man!

How do you know what pieces to get?
It is kind of just a guessing game. One way is to start building part of it with what pieces you have and determine how many you need from there.

Does the Boeing 717 can it fly from US to Europe?
