no, these clams are real from the wilderness, i know that because my uncle also harvests clams. the color of the shell is actually fake but the pearls inside are definately real

I love purple 💜 and I watched another video of hers ,all the pearls were pink .I've bought pearl jewelry before but I didn't think the beautiful colors happened naturally and see this I'm as excited as her ! I'd love to go pearl hunting .keep the shells and some of the pearls for gifts 🎁 and a few for me. I'd sell the rest. I can't wait to see what the pearls will look like so back to the video. Thanks for sharing 🎉! Oh and I wonder if the meat can be eaten 🤔. I don't care for clams unless there breaded and deep fried but not often.

@himanshudhingani2770 It's quite easy. It's called google. I simply searched natural colors of freshwater pearls, and there are no freshwater pearls that are that color. I also researched natural colors of clam shells, and there are no such thing as sparkly purple clam shells.
All it takes is a little research, and you can easily figure out what is real and what is not. From what I've researched, the pearls aren't even in the part of the clams that they should be.
By all means, enjoy her videos. Just know that what you are watching is for views, not reality.

I never knew clam shells came in Easter egg colors, but just watching this kind of video tonight, I've seen mint green, bubble gum pink, lavender, even metallic gold. I did notice this girls seemed to find the same clam twice, in the same debris.
Perfectly round pearls are rare even in farmed salt water oysters. Fresh water mussels like this can produce a rare pearl. But, they are white, purple,or a pale pink like the inside of the shell. And out of all the ones I opened, I only ever found a few only shaped pearls, and most were stuck to the shell. This is definitely fake, but I am confused about why?????

If you stick your hand & arm under rocks in streams & creeks where I live(Nashville,TN.),you are very likely to get bitten by a water moccasin or lose fingers/get a chunk of flesh taken from a snapping turtle...I wish I could trade creek wading environments w/her!! But anyways,we do have something here that apparently is rare 2 other states,& it's called the fresh water mussels(little bitty ones)that can sometimes produce tiny fresh water pearlls,but it's illegal 2 go around harvesting them in this state tho,cuz they are on the endangered species list(or were last I heard)...
