I wonder if some absolute jerk passenger on this train has applied the handbrake on one of the cars and caused a big delay

Have you checked out the Jupiter model recently released for TANE?

Quick question: what route where you on? It looks perfect for the old Jupiter. Also I love the whistle action.

But..... 4-4-0 American Locomotive could pull that heavy freight train (8+1 cars)? i think 4-4-0 hasn't got a big tractive effort......

about 10k or 12k lbs of effort. Certainly not a lot but trains back then weren't going very fast anyway.

      @@TrainSimUSA : thank you.
A question : when Union Pacific Railroad was opened in 1862 , how many cars a 4-4-0 american could pull on a 2,6x1000 inclined grades?

  • @tuxedorailfanproductions1349

    What route is this?
