Thank you for this teaching 🙏 ❤️ I have a co-worker, a young man of 24, who claims to be saved. I'm not judging his salvation because I cannot know that. Looking at what I see at work, if I did not know that he said he was a Christian, I would honestly not believe he was one. He is warm and kind, generally to everyone. He likes making friends with everyone. And yet, he cusses like a sailor and brags about getting drunk, looks forward to weekends when he can get drunk even. He also tells filthy jokes.
On the surface, he acts like an unredeemed gentile. I'm inclined to believe he is a young believer, immature in his faith, and not very versed in scripture yet. Still, it bothers me that he doesn't seem to be convicted of his foul mouth and drunkenness and how it reflects poorly on Christ's name.
So, because it does bother me, I'm inclined to believe the Holy Spirit is wanting me to say something to him. However, I am a 51 year old woman. He is VERY HEADSTRONG and loves to argue. I don't know what to say, how to say it, nor if I should say anything at all. Should I go through His girlfriend, who also works with us? Help?
It's difficult to give guidance on something like this via CZcams comments. Have you discusses your issue with your pastor?
@@gfbc1689 To be honest, I don't have a home church right now. Part of the reason for that is that I haven't been able to find a pastor who will take the time to talk with me about anything. I do understand, however that it is difficult with so little information. Thank you for responding though!
