This song is about the lead guitarist's divorce, but David Draiman's divorce came a few months later. It's different certainly for Disturbed but anything with the great Ann Wilson is awesome. I think David Draiman and Ann Wilson are two of the greatest hard rock singers ever. Also, the song was released over a year ago on the Divisive album, but it was just released as a single with the new video which is why it seems new. Great reaction!

Ann Wilson is the lead vocalist of the band HEART along with her sister Nancy Wilson who is a great guitarist..HEART has been around since the 1970's..Shes 73 here..If you don't know HEART ,You should search their music ,songs like Barracuda, Crazy On You, Magic Man, Alone,to name a few...They are in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame..They also did a great cover of Stairway To Heaven honoring Led Zeppelin at the Kennedy Center back in 2012 which is also posted here on CZcams...

This song was on their album "Divisive" which was released in November 2022. It was "inspired" by Dan Donegan's divorce.
This song was performed live for the first time Friday with Moriah Formica of Plush singing the Ann Wilson part. Plush was chosen to go on tour with Disturbed so that Moriah could sing the duet with David. She knocked it out of the park.

Disturbed is one of the few more 'modern' metal bands that I completely respect and adore.
They have their own sound but still hold on to a more old-school metal sound as well.
David Draiman's voice is brilliant on its own but mixed with Ann Wilson's is amazing.
He and the other band members are fully open about their struggles with metal illness as well.
They're videos always have fans commenting how their openness has helped them.

The drummer also got divorced. Disturbed's Divisive album was four years in the making, during which two of the band members' marriages broke down. Drummer Mike Wengren got divorced early in the pandemic and guitarist Dan Donegan went through a split in early 2022.
This song is about a disintegrating relationship where each party struggles with letting go. It was inspired by the ending of Donegan's marriage.
"That was a really personal one for me," Dan Donegan told Billboard. "During COVID-19, I was going through a divorce after 18 years of marriage. Part of that divorce process is that there was still a great deal of love we have for each other, and we couldn't imagine our lives without each other. Just that letting go, letting somebody go that you still love, but maybe the marriage just might not be working anymore... It was touching on that. It was just very personal."

It's not about his divorce, it's about Dan's (the guitarist) divorce in 2021. Dan talked about it in an interview.
Two of the other band members also went through divorces before David did. Mike Wengren and Dan Donnigan. This is about those. And his followed shortly. The song was on the Divisive album released last year.

Disturbed is one of the worst bands of all time. There's a reason nu-metal is considered one of the worst genres of music by most critics.
