Walking down memory lane......I actually saw David Draimon for the first time standing by Mudvaynes Amplifiers on stage 2 of Ozzfest. He was singing along, without a Mike watching. I am so fortunate. You see, I was standing up against 5he barricade, which is where I enevatbly end up at every show. There couldn't have been more than 50 people watching, as Mudvayne hadn't hit it big yet. About a year later I took my daughters down to Big Dudes instrument's in Westport Missouri to meet Disturbeds Drummer who signed a poster and pair of drumsticks for them. He was very gracious and kind. The epitome of how a human should treat another.

Saw Heart in 77. Still one of my favorite concerts.
I got dragged to a Heart show in 2004, after their peak, and left a huge fan of Ann and Heart. That was without a doubt the best live vocal performance I've ever heard. I'd dragged my girlfriend to a Metallica show and the payback was she dragged me to see Heart. Never had to drag me again though. Two things that stuck out to me were 1) Ann's incredible voice, and 2) Heart sounded like a metal band for a good 2/3 of the show. Didn't realize at the time how heavy a lot of their catalog is.
Your videos are thoroughly delightful. I know that sounds like such a banal comment. An acquaintance pointed me here many months ago and I resisted, god knows why, I guess the modern day malaise of feeling like I’m overwhelmed by all the podcasts I “must follow!” but a few weeks ago, while chair-bound and enduring a chronic illness flare, I binged a few videos and now here you are, an indelible facet of my online experience. I potter around the house and find myself singing “Justin Hawkins rides againnn… againnnnnn.” And I’m all the better for it. ❤

A metal and punk rock revolution in the UK if Green Day, Neck Deep and Saxon were the top three albums at the end of the chart week in Britain.

There is only one improvement they could have made to this song; inviting Nancy to come play the solos. The Wilson sisters are living legends!
Would have been cool for her to be the one strumming the acoustic at the end as a cameo. But Ann probably wouldn't have waned to share this song with Nancy.

I found Dirt through Ren as well when he asked us to check him out and support him. Love his music, and his support for his fans trying to kick their habits and get sober is amazing. His online (CZcams) community is so supportive of other people's struggles in the comments, it's nice and refreshing to see and read.

Mike Patton is the most versatile vocalist in rock/metal, he's untouchable in that regard. Everything from opera to death metal and he's even done voice work for video games.
