This was my second game at Anfield as a starstruck 11 yr old. My dad managed to lift me onto a wall near to where the Kop met with the main stand, so I had a great view... Not sure that he saw too much of the game though.!! I was so in awe of the Kop then...what a fantastic experience to be amongst the that swell of real football people.....will live with me forever.

Can't believe I've found these videos . I attended this game . I moved from NI to Liverpool in Sept 1975 from school . Went to every home game in the 2 years I was there as well as a few away games. Being a Liverpool fan from primary school , it was like a dream to be sent to Liverpool for 2 years training. I could see my heroes in person. Only game I missed was the St Etienne European Cup quarter final in 1977 as there was a lockout . The ground was full an hour before kick off. I remember standing outside and we watched the match on a tv monitor through the window of the broadcaster's van . These were the days before live broadcasting . Whichever company was broadcasting the game had it showing on the screen of their technical van outside. One of the great games that season. To this day, Liverpool FC are my life outside my family! I go over as many times a season as I can afford and if tickets are available. Miss the old terracing surges and atmosphere.

Thanks for the upload. I was at the game the next season when Villa were the first team to win at Anfield in a long time. Andy Gray got the winner (maybe both?). We were in the Annie Road End with bangers getting chucked at us, but we had the last laugh and were home in time for Match of the Day. If anyone has that, upload it. Respect to Liverpool.

I was there the previous year, also a 3-0 win for the Reds vs Villa in September. Coming all the way from Sweden to support Liverpool. My third game at Anfield. Brought my best friend, a Wolves supporter. He still talks about that game and the Kop experience.
