These videos are incredible. As someone who is starting to embrace my curl and wave patterns it is very interesting seeing your approach to working with wavy and curly men’s hair. I’m so glad I found your channel!

Nice cut also fair Play for leaving in the mistake. I don't cut hair but no doubt plenty watching this video do, and so it's good see the process of some one of your calibre. Too many people brushing over reality and airbrushing and using filters or only showing perfection.

can you do a video explaining how to grow out your hair (male). my hair is actually a bit like your client in this video, but i thought we would call it wavy than curly. nice video all in all.

Thanks! His hair is kind of between waxy and curly, depending on how it’s treated. With a diffuser it can look way curly but it also blow dries straight fairly easily. I have a video speaking about general goals and plans as far as growing out hair. People have commented that it doesn’t work for wavy or curly hair but it totally does, I’ve got plenty of clients who have grown out their wavy or curly hair with trims along the way. I’ve been trying to get a haircut like this for years with the exact same reference photo used in the the thumbnail. I have requested it from multiple hair stylists and barbers in multiple locations. They always cut the sides and back very short and the top slightly longer and swept to the side. It always ends up looking like a generic short men’s hair cut. It’s very frustrating to grow my hair out long enough just for someone to cut it all off. I have tried many ways of asking and showing photos, and even requesting a consultation to if it’s possible with my hair texture and length or if I should set my expectations elsewhere. They have confirmed that it can look similar and then they take it all off. I feel like I must be missing something. How do I request a specific haircut that doesn’t end up just being short on sides longer on top? Any information would be super helpful!
