Our pastor was always poor. He had a little home next to church with his family and he never once preached about tithing. The members were mostly poor too. People gave if they could and we always used the funds for the youth. That was the happiest church I had ever seen in my life and everyone would give an arm and a leg, and their time, to help others in need. This was the kind of church you go to with stained painter’s overalls or sweat pants or whatever and no one thinks twice about it.
I moved and so stopped going years ago. No place compares to that decrepit little church full of happy poor people. I can’t imagine joining one of these large syndicates, I mean churches, and having the pastor explain why he’s so rich. They even have security to physically remove people who try to question them outside the church. Absolutely disgusting.

Actually, It is your job to judge them. Paul tells us in Corinthians that we are to judge those who are in the church and sinning. If they refuse to repent after 3 times we are to kick them out of the church. We as Christians MUST hold each other accountable. If there is no accountability then we can and will do whatever we want and that's when Satan can come in and destroy us. It's not loving to sit back and say nothing or say stuff like "I can't judge" That's just laziness on your part. Do you not love Kenneth enough to tell him the truth or will you just sit back and let him parish when you comfortably say "meh, God can judge"

Some even can't afford to buy 3 meals a day. Hence they ate once a day to save money so they can have at least getting by each month.
So I use my monthly allowance from my scholarship, cook and offer them free dinner every night till I graduated.
Best investment ever. I have several bestfriend till death do us apart.
