@karimw.9954 Well, they're 26th and 27th, so the argument doesn't say much. You'd have to watch the games and see how Luka gets blitzed almost every dead possession. 333 times this year, ranked 1st. 2nd is Dame at around 160, I believe.
The Hawks did everything and sent everyone on Luka the whole game. Different coverages, different defensive schemes, and different players. Threw doubles the whole 4th, still got 16 and won.

Of course Luka is going to gets blitzed more than anyone, that makes sense. He has the ball in his hands so much that opposing teams rarely have to worry about his teammates getting into a rhythm. Luka has Kyrie on his team and still dominates the ball. This is why the Mavericks will never be true contenders.

Luka ended the game with 25of33. If Luka took 13 more shots I bet with all of you he would have made at least 10 of them and he would have had 90+, also Luka had 7 assists! But on SportsCenter that night, Stuart Scott and the everybody else on ESPN was praising Kobe. Why? He was a complete ballhog. Chris Mihm was a very solid big and shot a higher percentage than Kobe for the game, so why the 38 shot discrepancy. Luka got his points the right way by getting his teammates involved and making nearly all of his shots.
The Kobe game needs an asterisk. Also, he went to the free throw line a bunch in that game. Luka got most of his points off of pure shooting and scoring ability. To me, only Wilt and Luka have really eclisped the 70 point mark.
