- Hi Guys, I have shared my honest opinions and some reasons for why I felt disappointed with Saregama Carvaan. Though the product is great retro tech and has a lot to offer with 5000 evergreen songs, inbuilt bluetooth, USB playback and FM Radio, but u should check out this video before you finalise on your buying decision for this one.

My friend, you forgot while mentioning that it needs a bigger base speaker, that the target audience are the elderly persons which prefer low sound levels.
Even low and soft sounds are worst. Pure waste of money
They have made this product to get a retro song feel, that's the reason speaker don't have the base.... Bass shouldn't be a concern because people who buy this product or gift some one have a special retro song taste which feels good and satisfied to hear in these kind of speakers only..
Kudos to the team who have introduced this product🙌
The people who like old songs like to listen the lyrics. Here the lyrics are not suppressed by the music.
Like modern songs, these old songs doesn’t require a good bass.
Bought Telugu unit. 99% songs are most unpopular songs. I regret for buying.
Even the unit with bollywood songs also have some non popular songs
Agree, the songs and the product idea is excellent. But the actual product's battery life and latency can be a lot better, particularly given the large size.

I am using the same piece of caravan from almost 2years .. but I am facing a problem in it … a song “rimjhim ki tarane leke aayi barsat” comes after every other song and that too it comes for four to five times continuously…. Such an irritation point… This product I have purchase online. If you can provide service center at Guwahati then it will be helpful to me.
I too have this saregama carvaan, but after 1 year it's not working properly. I have charging problem it's not charging. Can anyone show me a good technician to repair in Mumbai Borivali.

I am just so disappointed reading all your comments here. Was planning to get it for my parents anniversary ....but as a matter of fact my old folks doesn't like the products that don't last long, they look at it as a waste of money......Thank you though...you saved my money and my parents from getting pissed 😅

I have one problem with my saregama mini. When I walk with the gadget in my pocket it's songs slips. That is it doesn't play properly.
I may forget all other points but one thing that I am always going to remember is that Gajesh is using this device from last 6 months.

Yes, one of my friends has Saregama Caravan Tamil. He too faces the same problem of one song repeating every now and then.

No FM radio channel allows you to control language of your content.. it just receives the signals transmitted by nearby radio stations..
Bt yes, FM can definitely play content in your regional language if you tune to some regional language channel in your region..

@@adesh172 no i didn’t. I watched a lot of reviews and felt simply waste of money. We can’t even browse to our favourite song, just listen to whatever comes next in queue. Better to get Spotify premium and connect it to a Bluetooth speaker of good quality

How to use FM and AM
There is a button in left side of this speaker.. just press the radio button & this would start playing your desired FM radio station.. plz note that this doesn’t have AM reception..
Sell it through open market. We have no scope to be cheated.
The quality is very poor. I have seen at least a dozen sets being used by people, but all are having some issues. The first big concern is battery. It doesn't hold charge after the use of a couple of months. The second concern is its display. A few are having unserviceable display. The third is the average quality speakers. The fourth problem is that the unit is unstable and topples easily.
