Those almost original express lifts in the Howard centre are being replaced soon, for the last 3 months or so 2 out of the 3 have been out of service and there are now signs up saying "New lifts being installed soon". I think they might have already started the replacement
Glad to see that there’s still some Expresses surviving! Hopefully they’ll keep them going for a fair bit longer, but I guess we’ll have to see lol! It would be good if someone could keep an eye on them for modernisation, as it would be awesome if a couple of those rare oval matrix displays could be preserved!
Unfortunately I doubt they’ll last much longer if 2 are broken and the left one is switched off my first thought would be part shortage I hope they last forever but I don’t think they have long.
