Enjoyed the changes to the growth. Beautiful spring on the Elwha.

Its nice to see the trees returning. They are young and tender too. The Elk are going to love that. Bears too.
I didnt know the road was washed out. Goblins gate always amazes me. That looks like it would be quite the hike now.
    Thanks for the upload.👍

Probably was a bear near the spillway, there was recent scat on the road nearby. Thanks for watching.

Thanks for the video. The landscape has changed since your last video out there. Wonderful to see the power of the river returning to its natural state. Not being a native of the Peninsula, I found the signs informative at the trailhead of the former ElwhaRiver dam walk when I went a few weeks ago.

Thanks for watching! It’s definitely different than the sandbox like conditions in the lakebed in past years.

Nice footage. Your voice sounds familiar. A nice hiker vantage point. 😉I like the real sound of the wind in the trees and water rushing. Walking sticks

It should be interesting with the fish returning to the river it should draw more predators to the river, I know we have been seeing many Bald Eagles around the river, saw three frying together just the other day and neighbor down the road has a pair nesting in one of their trees. The OLP Library had this recent video about the fish surveys that was really interesting: czcams.com/video/Cqon9ax4_bg/video.html oh yeah another great video!

Thanks for viewing. Saw some bear scat on the road before the spillway. They definitely like hanging around the lakebed.

Is the road up to the washout open to cars now? I saw parked cars there in this video.

It’s still closed, all of those cars were federal vehicles used by ONP.
