Tien Shinhan kills Master Shen

- Tien is a bodyguard of Mifan's Emperor, Chiaotzu. However, he is part of a plan with Master Shen and Tao Paipai to take over the kingdom. Tien has stolen doll Ran Ran from Chiaotzu's room and takes advantage of collecting the Dragon Balls for finding Ran Ran to take over Mifan. But, he gradually gets friendship with Chiaotzu. At the night before the tournament, Chiaotzu feels fear and tells Tien his nightmare.
At the next day, when Bora is killed by Tao Paipai, Tien and Shen take over the government. They command Mifan's army to arrest Master Roshi and Krillin. Tien beats Master Roshi with a single hit. Shen orders Tien to kill Chiaotzu but Tien refuses to do this. Shen shoots Dodon ray at Tien, Tien blows him away with his Tri-beam. After all, Tien gives Ran Ran back to Chiaotzu. Chiaotzu asks him that if he could stay with Chiaotzu. - Krátké a kreslené filmy
Great scene. Tenshinhan is my personal favorite Dragon Ball character and he shines in this movie.

I really liked this movie. One of the few cases except for the 22nd Bodukai episodes where Tien and Chiaozu were given proper credit.

it didnt really kill him ( i mean its left ambiguous but recall that this movie was supposed to be like an alternative timeline of whar happened in the original DB. this scene mimics the one in the 22nd budokai where Crane hermit is about to kill chiaotzu but Roshi blows him away to the sky with a kamehameha)
I think it killed him in the movie, considering the power of the Kikoho. I mean is the Crane Hermit isn’t made out of Nappa.
Also in the cell saga when gohan saves the girl in the river who mistakes him for a pervert her grandfather is master shin in dbz it appears he's had a change of heart you can tell its him because of his clothing and Goku somehow knows him

Seeing tien kill master shen was the good option for him how satisfying it was stopping shen killing tien and chaoitzu. Best scene.

So Kikohou is stronger than Dodonpa. Why don’t more characters use the Dodonpa? That’s literally a concentration of energy under high pressure in the finger and released like a laser.

An English dub of this cae out in like 2000. I had the VHS back then but basically Shen plots to take over the kingdom that Chiaotzu rules over and as Tien is his right hand man, he orders him to kill Chiaotzu to rub salt in the wounds of betrayal.
Tien refuses, Shen calls him a coward and says he'll do it himself, and Tien blows Shen away.

Honestly, I’m glad Tien killed him. The most despicable and unlovable character I hated in Dragon Ball is Master Shen.. the Tsuru Senin or in English terms Crane Hermit. If only King Piccolo never arrived and terrorized Earth during Master Mutaito’s time, then Shen and Roshi would have remained best friends and trained under one school. Shen would never resort to vengeance
really? he is among one of my favs. Probably the most formidable character that went unfought.
i think you being too hard on Crane. I like to think that a lot of Mutaito's good remained in him despite turning his back on his master, thats why he appears so tame compared to his brother tao. Even his fighting with Roshi has a certain brotherliness to it like siblings that never quite made up instead of genuine hatred. Only when he found out that his brother got killed by goku did he go from petty to really nasty and even then it was to avenge Tao's honor!
