That Coppertone Pure & Simple Mineral sunscreen you found in the travel section has SUCH a bad white cast that Ive literally used it in a pinch to clean up contour.

Purple Shampoo: I use it on my half dark brown/ half gray hair (Iâm 59) - it brightens my gray but does not do anything to my brown color. Iâve tried lots of different brands, but the one that actually works is PHYTO, Phytoargent No Yellow Shampoo ( 20:06 $22/Amazon). If you were to use a purple/blue shampoo your hair would look cooler (think ash brown) because it would remove the warm, brassy tones from your highlights.
Most people donât know that Pharmacy store brands OWN the luxury brands. For instance, Loreal owns La Roche-Posay, LancĂŽme,YevsSaintLaurent, Ralph Lauren and urban decay. They own a total of 51 brands. From NYX to Garnier.
What in the 1985 is this!!! That made me laugh out loud. She says these funny little zingers that just make me smile!! Thank u for all the great info!!
You should review the Vacation sunscreen line from Ulta! Their entire brand is super cute and gives 70s-80s vibes. I havenât tried any of their products yet, but Iâm intrigued for the sole purpose of their aesthetic đ€Ł
I have tried the whipped cream looking sunscreen. It smells delightful. My son says it smells like vanilla cupcakes. I like it for the body, not for the face. Very soft feeling.
@@starlight1818 Same here! I know fragrance isnât for everyone, especially those who are allergic to it. I personally donât mind it in my sunscreen though as I think it adds more enjoyment when applying it and helps mask the dreaded sunscreen smell. Thatâs actually one of the reasons I love Sunbumâs spf products! Iâm mostly into fragrance free skincare myself, but gotta have some variety on the market when it comes to sunscreen đ€
Hi Dr Dray, I have used the Lucera purple shampoo. It is a good product. It does not over strip or deposit too much pigment on the blonde hair strands. To keep from any purple blonde shampooâs & conditioners from depositing too much color, I will use the As I Am co-wash on the ends & the use the lucera on my scalp & hair near the scalp.
Ohhhhh, I just went to CVS today and got the Eucerine Skin balance Facial Day Cream for $2.99đđ„°I have saved $99.81 so far this year! I mean, that's insane! Yay, me! And yay you! Thank you for passing these along to others as wellđđđ
I have to agree, you do save a lot at CVS! I love all the coupons and extra care bucks! One of my fave CVS locations has really good makeup and skincare! I could spend HRS in there!
Mist purple shampoo would work fine if you're just wanting to lighten up the blonde in your hair. I have silvery white hair and i use some of the more extreme purple shampoos on mine. But i like to use the purple vegan dyes like manic panic in violet and cut it with a good white conditioner and it works to keep my silver so shiny and get rid of any yellowing. Also sometimes if i leave it on for a long time or dont cut it as much ill have a pretty lavender tint to my hair and i like it a lot. Of course it washes out quickly since the Manic Panic are not permanent dyes. Also they don't damage the hair like the permanent dark brown box dyes do. I could never grow my hair long for year and year it would not grow past my shoulders. Now since i decided to grow my grey/silver out, my hair is so long amd thick and healthy. I can't keep it trimmed enough it jeeps touching my backside almost. Lol. But really i had the finest thin hair that would mot grow before. So i can attest to jow awful those permanent hair dyes are for hair.
Hi Dr. Dray. Can I layer a tinted and a non tinted mineral sunscreens after a gap of 15 minutes ? I have been trying to get the right shade of tinted sunscreen for my skin of color for a long time now but no success.Thanks.
Not a whole lot of savings from CVS if you are a financially savvy person. Just compare a brand name product from CVS to Walmart or Target. CVS price is so much more expensive. Unless you get a ton of prescriptions from them, then itâs worth it.
Yes. Itâs only worth it If you have a coupon. And even then it might not be when compared to Walmart. Cvs is overpriced by 1.5x many times if not more.

My favorite Derm quotes G G Unit love it
Banana boat Is one of my favorite sunscreens I have the one that says sensitive skin and no it does not irritate my eyes are you kind of have to rub it in a little bit more but it doesnât leave any Cass

Dr Dray- help this 40 yr old mama outâŠinstead of Houstonâs sauna, Iâm in Phoenixâ oven!! What skincare reqs do you have for those of us who have zero humidity??
And I love Sun Bum too!!!! Will try the purple shampoo and let you know.
I really love your monotone voice. Itâs so soothing â€
She is always so calm and her voice and demeanor and expertise always soothe my anxiety. I just put her videos on repeat when I need to hear some background noise to be calmer.
I have gotten all my covid vaxs at CVS, i was very impressed with them (at least that particular store). Love their deals also đđŒ. So glad dr dray shops there and evaluates their products.
Don't forget to get your daily boosters

I'm so happy to hear her say that clay masks with fragrance are still acceptable because you don't leave it on your skin all day. I have a couple with fragrance that I wasn't sure if they we're okay to use or not
Always finish up what you have but donât repurchase!
I'm so glad you didn't go to the CVS that has the annoying beep every 5 seconds! I love going to CVS. Thanks for the great video
I would love to see you do brand favorites again.
Those videos were great! Agreed they should come back!
Happy Thursday Dr DrayâŠsee you tomorrow xđđ€©
happy thursday!
DocâŠyou are soooo funny! I really enjoy your walk throughs. It feels like Iâm hanging out with my friend, who happens to be a Dermatologist. â€â€
If you were to use a purple/blue shampoo your hair would look cooler (think ash brown) because it would remove the warm, brassy tones from your highlights.
I love cvs 40% off one item and Extra care bucks last time I had $8.60

You made me crack up with the Dry Idea deodorant joke đâŠmy mom has been using that same one for years! Probably since 1985âŠ
Happy Thursday Dr. Drayđ So thankful for this video!!!

Most people donât know that Pharmacy store brands OWN the luxury brands. For instance, Loreal owns La Roche-Posay, LancĂŽme,YevsSaintLaurent, Ralph Lauren and urban decay. They own a total of 51 brands. From NYX to Garnier.
Many people know this now, esp if youâre into makeup
What in the 1985 is this!!! That made me laugh out loud. She says these funny little zingers that just make me smile!! Thank u for all the great info!!
Agreed! That popped out at me too. I love her expressions and sarcasm and funny quirky sense of humor
I wish she reviewed it though! Unscented is such a hoax
Your skin is beautiful!
I have been using lanolips 101 cream and the day cream⊠wow I mix them with my other skin stuff and my skin is very hydrated
I wonder how she'll feel about it since she doesnt like fragranced products, I'm still curious on her thoughts otherwise!
What in the 1985 is this?!?!?đđ i love your humor and the knowledge you be dropping đđ
I stopped shopping at CVS for lots of reasons, but their prices are outrageous.
Love travel/trial sizes! I got Albalene from watching a video where you used it. Love it!!!!
The Loreal clay cleanser actually isn't new. I used it a few years ago and I think I still have a tube around somewhere.
Ohhhhh, I just went to CVS today and got the Eucerine Skin balance Facial Day Cream for $2.99đđ„°I have saved $99.81 so far this year! I mean, that's insane! Yay, me! And yay you! Thank you for passing these along to others as wellđđđ

What was the original price?!
I have to agree, you do save a lot at CVS! I love all the coupons and extra care bucks! One of my fave CVS locations has really good makeup and skincare! I could spend HRS in there!
Hello Dr. Can you recommend good sunscreens and possibly other tinted products like concealer and powders containing iron oxide?
Can you try out/talk about the Estée Lauder nutritious melting soft creme/mask?
Everywhere I look it seems like people are paid to say good things, like obviously following a script and stuff đ Iâd love your opinion on it! đ
HI DR DRAY HAPPY THURSDAY đ„°đ

I loved the curel hydrotherapy in lotion! Now I can't find it anywhere in store where I live!
Man I didnât like it! Hated the orange peel oil if itâs still in there. I tried it a few years back and still see it in Walmart
Hello Drâïž between benzoyl peroxide and azelaic acid, which is better for papulopustular rosacea? and can both be used to treat it?
Responses vary from person to person
CVS is my favorite place to shop for skincare :) i love going there to peruse and my rewards bucks 4 lyfe!
Thanks!
Thank you đ
Hi Dr. Dray. Can I layer a tinted and a non tinted mineral sunscreens after a gap of 15 minutes ? I have been trying to get the right shade of tinted sunscreen for my skin of color for a long time now but no success.Thanks.
Yes
Not a whole lot of savings from CVS if you are a financially savvy person. Just compare a brand name product from CVS to Walmart or Target. CVS price is so much more expensive. Unless you get a ton of prescriptions from them, then itâs worth it.
Yes. Itâs only worth it If you have a coupon. And even then it might not be when compared to Walmart. Cvs is overpriced by 1.5x many times if not more.
