Gaza's Bloody Gas and Oil

The conflict in Gaza, as well as a surprise Hamas attack on Israel on October 7th, have sparked much speculation and rumour. The attack in Gaza was reportedly planned for two years. So, with some justification, many are wondering why there was such a catastrophic intelligence failure, resulting in the attack catching the Israeli military sleeping on the job.
According to the New York Times, which cited six top foreign officials, that Israel has quietly tried to build international support, for the transfer of several hundred thousand civilians, from Gaza to Sinai Desert, just across the border in neighboring Egypt.
