Noel said: Oasis glory days (94-98) are over and he can't work again with Owen Morris (producer), Bonehead, Guigsy and Brian Cannon (artworks). Very sad.
The Pouatt The songs themselves weren't all that bad, but they were just ridiculously over-blown, over-produced and indulgent. They'd taken far too much cocaine, Noel took his eye off the ball and to it showed.
I've never seen Noel accept criticism like that. I was a bit taken aback by his but Fanning was bang on throughout and I must say the fact that he's Irish has to have had an impact on Noel acceptance
Liam still hasn't changed really either, Liam is Oasis and that's all he's known since he was 19. Now that they've split its still obvious, he does his solo music but he still just wants to be in Oasis forever. And that's where Noel is different, he wants to different things and doesnt get depressed if he doesn't perform for 6 months. And that's why they're probably never gonna get back together, they don't want the same things and Noel is done with the formula of Oasis.(unless of course Noel goes broke lol. but he's got so my fingers in so many pies that'll probably never happen tbh).
I seem to have gone temporarily deaf during Sunday Morning Call. I'm surprised they played the other songs during this interview. Copyright bullshit or whatever.
I love that back in the 2000 noel predicted that liam wouldn't be happy if oasis split up. Everything he said is what he is doing now. Being bitter about the break up . And liam being bored having no band. As liam said oasis until I die.
Yeah just says it in the title there bud you're spot on. 2000. What a time to be a teen, crazy about music. And I still have a soft-spot for 'Be Here Now' and always will.
@@JosephGallagherOasis is both of them, can't have one without the other. Personally I'd add Bonehead and Alan White to that equation as well, who also need to be part of any comeback.
@@tcaudiobooks737 I think Noel intentionally harps on about Be Here Now in order to draw attention away from the other later atrocious albums. For me, 'Standing on the Shoulder of Giants' was by far their worst album but you never hear him say a word about that.
Not too keen on this interviewer. Noel's clearly offended at some of the stuff he says. It's like when you take the p1ss yourself but you won't allow anyone else to do it. Plus 'Dave Fanning' says 'Giggsy' at 14:10. Yeah, big fan...Tosser
@@Marfmellow88I know Liam did like to walk off stage and he thought it presented him as this guy with attitude (which did work) but I do think he genuinely had troubles singing, with laryngitis and Hashimoto’s disease etc
@@LG_X I suspect he never warmed up his voice or took care of it very well. He would’ve said it wasnt cool or rock n roll to do…maybe I am wrong but I think this has a lot to do with his voice damage in the 2000s

You can tell this was during his valium phase...he is remarkably chill and lethargic during this.
That phase was a lot worse than people think he had to go in hospital to get off them! Horrible things valium

Never heard about that. How many was he taking?

That will be the emergence of a huge ego, mixed with the self belief that comes from bum licking from rock stars kids that wanna be in your band :D .
Gas panic is a naughty little number 🔥
i love be here now don't why its trashed by everyone
Agreed. Saw them in Orlando during the be here now tour in 97 or 98. Cornershop opened. was awesome.
+GroovesAndLands That's cos your american and you dont understand what oasis are about

@@felina7849 True though!
Songs are too long to a boring point, the volume is so damn loud and the mix of the instruments is really unbalanced
'Gas panic' is a really well written song. It describes a comedown fairly perfectly at least imo.
Fanning always seems to put Noel through his paces,

The two comments above are definitely not two bots talking to each other. Nope.
Is this interview around when they played landsdowne road in 2000.....?

Not the same as saying Oasis is Liam...

Oh wait 21:04
oasis Be Here Now disco perfeito
I think they are both being harsh on Be Here Now, it isn't actually that bad of an album! ENjoyed this interview though, very upfront and honest
It is bad
The album is great, its just toooo long!😊
Mais entrevistas ?
I dunno why Noel is going light on guigsey and bonehead here,I've seen and read interviews where he fucking murdered them.
Depends what mood Noel is in at the time. Seems to have a split personality. Probably a Gemini thing! Lol
def not pulling any punches against his own body of work
Noel sounds suicidal here.
Valium addiction…
noel estava muito passivo nessa entrevista
Tadinho...que dó...😔😔💔💔
Stand by me is better than ‘cigarettes and alcohol’
No
No
Hahaha absurd comment
cigarettes and alcohol is the most overrated song theyve done ,its garbage with a bad t rex riff
Every song sounds the same ,bot bad when your 14 tho .
Be here now is a hundred times better than fannings dodgy haircut
Ha ha
Aye
Ah, good one. Ha
While it's the worst of the hit years (94-98) It's still better than all the albums from Oasis Shit Years (00-09)

Noel 2000 seems burnt out, uninspired and not sure if he even wants to continue...No comparison to Noel 2023

Good to see Noel humbled
Noel God gave you a singing voice for a reason. So you can stand in for your brother when he has a bad throat! Lol. Stop whining about it.
I dunno, it was Liam’s ONE job. Noel had a dozen different roles and kept the band chugging along. You would be resentful too.
