You're not alone with your V4 problems. I had the same experience with the V4's as you did. I ordered a 3 pack. I tried 2 of them. Took forever to connect to WiFi. When it did work, all I got was a few still frames now and then. I was 10 feet from my access point. I even tried turning off my upgraded WiFi system, and then turning on the older built in WiFI from my AT&T gateway. Same results. I have 4 Wyze Pan V2's distributed all over my house that work flawlessly on either WiFi system. The only bright spot is, Wyze pays for the return shipping, which I am taking advantage of. I think they are trying to reduce the price point by sacrificing quality. I believe most people would pay a few more bucks for something that actually works reliably. To sum it up, the V4's are junk.

I don’t have this problem worked perfectly on my end

I wish Wyze would concentrate more on making their cameras reliable, and less on more and more extra features. I just want it to work all the time. I'd also like a hard-wired option. I don't need wireless, I need speed (of connection) ease of review of the recording, and reliability (stop telling me the card is missing when it isn't).

Good points. There was a small earthquake in New Jersey a week ago. Most of my Wyze cams needed the microSD card ejected and inserted. Though it was a small earthquake, it caused Wyze to not recognize the microSD. It continued to record to their paid cloud service though. I thought it would have sucked for customers who had mounted their cameras at harder to reach places.

@@AwkwardHamster Well at least they should have (even if a paid option) a battery backup (with an actual static transfer switch) so they don't wig out just because of an instantaneous power interruption.

Are you still having issues with v4?

I added another wifi station and most cameras load better, except for the one at the farther outdoor end of the home.
I also found that Wyze loads slower if I grouped my camera. For example, I had one group that was for indoor and another for outdoors. I use to be able to watch all V3 outdoor units at once. With V4, the outdoor units load too slow. So when someone rings the doorbell, the kids now have to individually click one V4 to load the image faster and see who is around the door. Yes we have a doorbell camera but it doesn’t show who may be standing to the sides.
The 4K image is better than 1080. I would recommend V4 for those with very good wireless coverage around their property.
