This stuff reminds me a lot of the Cars (Early era Cars. 'Candy-O', 'living in stereo', 'just what I needed' --heavily keyboard influenced material etc.)!!! I would love to hear a whole album of songs like this. If Josh and the current Queens could put out an album of songs like this, that were AS GOOD AS THIS..,...That would be up there with Rated R and the debut(and this is coming from a serious Nick era QOTSA afficionado)! This song and this style is THAT good. Not as heavy, but AS good!!

Sorry Don McGlashan but I'm sure this might be one of the songs that many wish they wrote. I initially thought it was a New Zealand artist Don McGlashan and wondered why I had never heard this amazing song which in some weird way is a compliment to Don McGlashan but I bow in disgrace and admit I had no idea. I now am familiar with QOTSA due to this moving piece and Amazon prime in which I heard it on credits of Wolf Like Me.

Ok i found this song from a tv series i watched tonight on expense of my precious important sleep in my difficult unbearable life where only my kids are my light. The tv series is wolf like me. The story of the series is very close to my life as of the last 5 years , a tad more difficult mine compared to the tv series.. This tv series tonight gave me a small splinter of hope, that cursed hope that makes you defy your situations, that cursed word that was a pain and a handicap in my situations and i had it condemned as evil and a pain to carry, has appeared again..That Wolf Like Me gave me some shine through ..and this song is the epitome of the series s1 end and ... o hwait ..it is just a script and just a song.. or is it just not, for me?
