I genuinely hope that those who try to support their antisemitism through quoting the Bible or claiming that it is Christian, will actually listen to this video and RESPOND to the specific Scripture verses that I brought up. If you ignore these verses then please don't pretend your views a Christian. The gospel is for all people.

That is not his name. His name is Isous Xristos. The NT was written in Greek not Hebrew. The lingua franca in the entire Levant at that time was Greek. Why because of the Greco-Macedonian empire and its influence in the region. Look it up if you think I'm wrong.

@@chriskjo1611 With all respect, I don't really think Jesus, an ethnic Jew, was going around referring to himself to his fellow Jews in Greek. I get what you're saying, Hellenistic culture was indeed very influential, but most likely he spoke Aramaic most of the time (or at least among other Jewish people), along with Greek, the same way that a lot of people around the world speak the language of their homeland plus English. In any case I find it hard to believe that his parents named him a Greek name. For example. I live in the US and have a roommate originally from India. She and her friends all have Indian names, although they speak English along with Hindi. It would be weird if her name was Karen or or Madison or something. Names tend to have a lot more to do with culture and background than only language.
Now (and maybe this was your point!), it must be acknowledged that a lot of Jewish people at the time of Jesus did in fact have two names---one Hebrew, and one a Romanized, Greek version of the Hebrew one--but it's likely incorrect to think that among other Jewish people, Jesus would be primarily going by a Greek one, or that his parents or family thought of him as "Isous Xristos", or to say that calling him Yeshua is wrong because of the Greek name that is used in the NT. As another example, I have an old friend whose parents are from South Korea. She has a Korean name that her Korean-speaking family and friends call her, but she goes by a different, common girl name in the U.S. If I were to write a book about her (in English, to reach an international audience), and then her father called me and told me that he liked my book about his daughter, Kim Sun Hee, it would be weird if I corrected him and said, "No, her name is Gracie, you can't call her Kim Sun Hee, since I wrote the book in English, and English is very influential around the world right now."
(Also, a side note--correct me if I'm wrong, but Xristos is basically the Greek way to say "The Messiah." "Christ" is not a last name.)
In any case, people from many different places use transliterations for Jesus' name because that's how languages work, and there's nothing wrong with that. Why not let the very people from whom Jesus came call him by their own language without interjecting?

Sadly, it's being said a lot right now, because of disagreement over the war with Israel/Palestine. People suddenly think they are God, and know the hearts and intent of mankind, like only God does. I'm surprised you haven't seen it, because it is very prevalent now, with people citing scriptures in revelation to "support" this claim, and even call the Jewish people "antichrist". However, they forget that even as they called for Jesus death, He called His Father to forgive them, for they knew not what they did. People also tend to forget that they are not God Himself, so they don't get to play the "who can or cannot be saved" game. Sadly, hatred for Jews has become prevalent again, where hatred should not exist for our fellow man. We should call out evil when we see it, but to say that any cannot be saved goes directly against the words of Jesus Himself.

As per the video, he disagreed with the reason behind it. In other words, he supported what the Jews were doing then. He should also have mentioned what type of identification mark they were to wear. It will speak volumes whether the symbol was demeaning, or neutral or it represented the important aspect of Jewish belief. For example, if Christians were compelled to wear a decent cross on their neck, it should not be viewed in a negative light. You want to spread Christianity, so why should you be afraid of showing yourself as a Christian? Likewise the Jews. Why be offended when you are asked to identify as a Jew? Aren't Jews believe they are the chosen people of God?
Mike has the right to critique the Catholic Church but he is also expected to be fair in doing so. Failure to do that only proved that he is dishonest. What he did here is point out that the Catholic Church had persecuted the Jews "for being Jews" or "for crucifying Jesus". This is the conclusion we draw from his video. The only reference he made was that he does not say the Jews were all good.
The Catholic Church does not hold grudge against the Jews for the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. It was bound to happen and we know why it should happen. But what Catholics hated is the effort of the Jews in suppressing of the gospel by denying the deity and resurrection of Jesus Christ with a false narrative of their own.
Catholic Church sees the hand of the Jews in spreading error and corruption in the world which is designed to counteract against the teachings of the Catholic Church.

Nevertheless only a remnant will be saved. However at this present time there are more Messianic Jews in Israel than in any time since the first century. Those "Christians" who vomit the most hate towards the Jews seem to be for the most part Orthodox. A lot of their basis for saying God is finished with Israel and that God has replaced Israel with the Church stems for Constantine. When observing that the Jews had been scattered throughout the world and that Israel had been renamed Palestine by the Romans and the Jews were forbidden from entering Jerusalem he naturally concluded the Church had replaced Israel. It is very clear by his arguments that he is debunking the idea that the sins of past jews have made their descendants unreachable by the truth of the Gospel and that all evil that befalls them is justified because the killed Christ. Surely the blood of the resurrected Son of God is powerful enough to cover that transgression...

    • @billgates3699

His blood is enough to pay for ALL sin for ALL time but that does not equate to a curse.
A curse, I have learned personally, is whenever you allow demons into you and those around you and then the next generation is born under the influence of the same demons. Now imagine a thousand years of this demon having sovereignty over a group of people. At that point, Satan basically has dominion over their flesh. They are fully blind and would need a miracle to let the Word penetrate Satans fortress.
For a thousand years, central and South Americans were sacrificing humans for their satanic rituals. Canaanites did the same. Africans did the same. Every one of these groups of people are still living with the curse of a thousand year allegiance to the devil. Every one of them CAN be saved but think of the works and miracles it would require to break A THOUSAND YEARS of Satan’s foothold.
Oh, and Canaanites… I mention them because they are the people referred to in Revelation 3:9 😉 they just use the J word as a shield to hide their evil works. This is why they are so cursed. They don’t even hide the fact that they aren’t who they claim to be as per Acts 7:43! The star of Remphan!! It’s plain for all the world to see!

    • @billgates3699

@@gulanhem9495the covenant was broken repeatedly. That’s why God’s grace granted us a NEW WAY and we must not hold the old covenant while expecting His grace. That means that every single person ever born, ever, IS saved. All they have to do is accept it 💁🏼‍♀️ it’s literally that easy.
I have heard hundreds of testimonies from people that went to hell and came back. They all say the same thing: every person in hell knows they deserve hell and they wish they would have done differently if they only had the chance. I do believe that any person that is given the chance to know Jesus yet REFUSES, even in his almighty presence at the threshold of death, is simply destined to never be saved. They just will NOT admit the TRUTH and for that they pay. Forever. How evil can a person be to look at hell and their eternal destruction and still say “nah, it ain’t Jesus”? That is the ULTIMATE evil. Nothing could be more evil. Nothing.

The current occupants of Israel are not the Biblical Jews. *The Master Bible's "Archaeological Supplement", p. 1398-G:*
"The Zionists are not Jews according to race. In 692 A.D., they formed the Khazar kingdom. In 955 A.D., Russia conquered them. They are neither Jew by race, nor are they genuinely Jewish in religion. They pass as Jews and pretend that they are the descendants of Israel and therefore, have a right to Palestine as their national homeland, but they are false in their claims and irreligious in their living."

Then, you can conclude that no one today possesses the evidence that your God requires to be considered an actual descendant of Jacob/Israel. Then you can research the unauthorized changes by Rabbinic law that altered God's requirements for validating someone's claim of being a Jew or Jewish. Next, you should call yourself, since no one today can furnish the proof required by God to substantiate their claims of being a child of Israel, why would men ie Rabbis change the standard to make it extremely easy to become a Jew? Why? The answer should become obvious. Therefore, you should reach the correct conclusion which is, that it's true you are a gentile but so is everyone else according to the scriptures.

Though I highly disagree with anyone saying that "The passion of the Christ" was anti Jewish, and yes I remember that, I don't think what we are seeing now is the same thing. The passion just showed the true history of what occured. However, if one took it and used it as a reason to have hatred for Jews, then that's bad and it's on them. Jesus said, "Father forgive them, for they know not what they do." Those are the words that carry the most weight in this conversation. Only God knows the heart or intentions of mankind truly. We can gain a lot of knowledge, but we will never be Him. He is all knowing and we are not. I think oftentimes, when a whole group is criticized for the actions of some, that is exactly what human beings are doing. By your standard there is no Jew nor Gentile, so there is no church then period.
Whether you are a Jew or a Gentile you need to be saved by Jesus, the whole fight in the Bible between Jew and Gentiles was about the practice of the Law of Moses. Paul was very much involved in the church and he never denied that he was still a Jew, if I remember correctly Paul said he was from the tribe of Benjamin.
I still remain from my own tribe, being saved did not change my ethnicity, neither did it change my culture, I still do practice things of my culture which is lawful before God, things which are unlawful I've abandoned.

Jesus is our Sabbath. The Old Covenant has been fulfilled. Sunday (first day of the week) worship for Christians dates back to the 1st century church. It is not, and was not to the early church, considered the Sabbath at all. It was considered "the Lord's day", because it is the day of the resurrection. This is referenced in both scripture and confirmed by other reliable early church sources.
"On the first day of the week, when we were gathered together to break bread" - Acts 20:7
"And on the Lord's day of the Lord come together and break bread, and give thanks, having before confessed your transgressions, that your sacrifice may be pure." - Didache 14:1 (70 AD)
"We keep the eighth day (Sunday) with joyfulness, the day also on which Jesus rose again from the dead." - Epistle of Barnabas 15:6-8 (74 AD)
"Those who were brought up in the ancient order of things (Jews) have come to the possession of a new hope, no longer observing the Sabbath, but living in the observance of the Lord's day, on which also our life has sprung up again by him and by his death." - Ignatius' Epistle to Magnesians 8 (110 AD)
There are many more such statements from early church fathers like Justin Martyr, Origen, Eusebius, Athanasius, Cyril, and more on through the first several centuries of the church. So not only does Sunday worship go all the way back to the time of the Apostles, so too does the specific understanding that this was not at all in observance of the Sabbath, but instead in observance of the Lord's day, i.e. the resurrection.

Scripture very repeatedly foretells of the wickedness of the Israelite leaders condemnation of the Messiah and the prophets, etc, and God's very great long term consequences on them and their need to corporately repent of it, which balances out that God loves them, wants them to repent, and wants to graft them back into the vine.

The third temple isn't mentioned in scripture by that name. The third temple is deduced because of what is written in scripture. Jesus says we shall know its the end time when the Abomination of desolation sits in the temple and demands to be worshipped as God. The second Jewish temple was destroyed in AD70, so for this to happen a third temple MUST BE BUILT.

Christians should never reject proselytizing to any human. Only if the person means Jews who openly reject Jesus wnen saying they oppose Jews, then it might be appropriate depending on the context. For example, in religious discussions Christians will say "Jews teach...which is wrong, because...." obviously, referring to practitioners of modern Judaism.
