Ive seen whifbitz have a A80 ZF8HP swapped Supra, that's literally the best way to go for drag racing
@@X1xRiGox3X not even for just drag racing, best gearbox in all situations especially being a daily driver. Very smooth and reliable box will take the abuse all day everyday and if goes wrong you can get another box for £500.
Luke is a great guy, with a great car. He is always the same kind of guy and his car isn't too shabby 😁😁
The problem with the MKIV was the bumps in the runway were so bad the battery connection in the boot came loose - the top end of the run had no ignition!! Also my supra has never had a manual box - it used to be the 4 speed auto.

I think 4 cylinders are underrated like everyone says "little 4 cylinder" but you can get crazy power out of them if you forge the engine

Impressive times from all cars. I'm a fan of that Supra for sure, I bet my car would be pretty evenly matched as I run a very similar trapspeed. I just struggle to get my 60ft down. Canada did not get the Silvia but a Nissan 240sx which was powered by an anemic 2.4L 155hp 4cly.
All serous pieces of kit shame about the 2jz tapping out I reckon it would have took the silvia in a 1/4 though ✌️ props to all 3 cars though all amazing builds 👏

Leaving the supra with the manual box makes more sense. I think some people who maybe find the car is not performing as they would like put the blame on it being a manual hence going dct...maybe the problem is with the drivers as a manual can be quick

Luke’s S15 is a big favourite always but the A90 Supra with those 305 section rears was always gonna grip and go from a stand still. These DCT equipped cars are always having something go wrong. They need to go sequential or stay manual.

The new supra is sick. Good 1/4 mile and 0-60 time for 550bhp RWD. S15 did good on the roll race but for 1/4 mile you defo need new auto box or at least a DCT. Manuals aren’t going to cut it. Good race. 👍

Always cool when a original tuned engine (CA18DET, SR20(1)DET) beats another not even in the same "weight" class Toyota... I'm mean Supras is meant for competing against Skyline GT-R's and GTR's :-)

Wouldn't say the Nissan won the first race against the first supra it was ahead by a bit on the line still a great race, was slightly ahead on first roll race against the second supra as well but wiped the floor with it by a a superb initial pull, again another class race. Can't take anything away from the Nissan that car is freakishly quick and is proper good looking.
at the start of that first race the supra was near a car length behind the s15
