Speed leveling is really just a trap that makes buying skill points and skill lines more tempting. My tip is to do psijic order, mages guild, some fighters guild and skill point gathering at the same time. Start with psijic order that takes you around the map where everything else is and have them all done at the same time.
Doesn't it take ages to get all that stuff done? As a console player, I personally would never redo the mages guild since we don't have addons that show us stuff on the mini map or whatever.
I’d skip mages guild and do that seperate on console. Pc it’s easier but same shit really. Probably takes 50 to 100 hours all up (that includes doing most dungeons as well for undaunted and those skill points) depending on how fast u go. It’s similar to score running vma/vvh, easier if u like repeating stuff to try get more efficient at it.
I do it like this too, and also getting the basic pvp ranks with a few battlegrounds dailies as well. Also this way I feel like a care more about the character too, but that's probably a personal quirk.
That's entirely wrong in my opinion. I have speed leveled my 3 other characters and never had any issues with leveling the rest.
Fighters guild can be leveled while speed leveling. (Kill zombies.) You'll reach 50 and have FG at like level 8 or 9 already so it happens in the same process.
Skill points you get enough for your starting setup, then you hunt some skyshards for the other stuff and/or do dungeons, where you get both xp and skillpoints as well.
Undaunted skill unlocking is done in 2 days max, given you actually do dungeons. You get levels from pledges, the daily and every single dungeon quest you complete. Maxing the undaunted line takes a while, yes, but you only need level 5 anyways for every skill to be unlocked.
The only thing that's massively aids is the mages guild. You really need to dedicate the time for exploration there, but that's nothing that would be fixed if you didn't speed level.
Most of these power-levelling strats are pointless. I recently found out people actually pay 100k for intricate items to level something that levels naturally in about 3 days. So all this, might get you to 50 in 2 days. I'll be in exactly the same place as you in 5 just chilling and you'll have no advantage over me whatsoever

If you're not min maxing and you're worried about sustain, then Breton for Magicka and Imperial for Stamina. I've had no resource issues when I test with either, and I hate running out of resources far more than I want to see my name on a ranking list somewhere.

We often make ancient dragon guard and Order's Wrath for new guild members who have a low level char and no crafters.

in regards to sets one u didnt mention but i feel is worthy especially for leveling is Ancient Dragonguard, gives u everything u need imo for leveling a fresh new baby; healt, weapon/spell damage, crit chance and the 5pc is brilliant when ur above 50% hp u get a damage buff but when ur below u get a defensive buff, been using this for almost all of my new babies since southern elsweyr dropped as it pairs very well with any set on any build, lots of great info here cheers for the vid deltia its much appreciated o7
The only thing you need on a new character is sustain honestly, especially if you already have a gazillion champion points, and even if you don't overland in this game is not going to kill you

I have powerleveled a few characters, I will take my time with the arcanist. Discover the class as I play. Psijic order line is a nice way to explore the map and get a lot of skill points and lorebooks.
I'll prepare by going fishing during the summer.

I actually find battlegrounds the most fun during levelling. It's more relaxed, it's like most people have no expectations. :D
I recommend Heartland Conqueror and Adept Rider for leveling a new character (both craftable). Adept will give you extra movement and mount speed right away, so you don't have to worry about unlocking the PVP passive if you don't want to, or if you are trying to conserve those precious few skill points right at the start. It also makes you really beefy. A hidden gem no one ever talks about but I highly recommend!

To new players who may have missed it in the video:
The purpose of Heartland Conqueror is that you can put Training as your weapon trait, and the set doubles the amount of your trait.
Any other weapon would have 9% traning XP. Heartland weapon will have 18% training XP.

for account make yourself level up set for level at level 3, 10,20,30,40 and weapon to acompany that keeps the damage good enough to keep it at flow and you can reuse the set once it account bound and use it for leveling on the account. this way it will not heavily clog your storage and can be reused for all leveling. blue or better on armour and legendary on weapons is to prefer. unless devs make a level scale craftable set for training and leveling that would solv some of the leveling storage items.

All good advice except buying riding lessons with endeavours. worst return at the lower tiers, save up for those big ticket mounts if you like cosmetics. The crown to endeavour ratio is much better at the top drop tier

Edit: The following no longer works! (Or maybe it never did I just have a bad memory lol). "At level 12 you get a free pack upgrade, so get that really expensive last one for free! I think it saves you about 70k gold." Since that doesn't work the most you can save is 400 gold I think if you can wait till level 12 before upgrading your bags. Pretty disappointing... I was looking forward to saving 70k 😜
I tried that one time and for me it didn’t let me get the upgrade maybe I messed it up but for me it didn’t give it to me as a reward
You can only get the first bag slot at level 12. If you buy one before level 12 then you do not get one.
That doesn't work. If you've brought any bag upgrade before lvl12 you won't get the freebie. No 70k hacks here unfortunately
@@angelicalynn1259 You are 100% correct. I don't remember it being like that, and haven't leveled a character in years. I had recently leveled an alt to level 12 and hadn't taken the rewards for yet for this very reason and just tried it out. Screen shot of the rewards screen at first showed the bag upgrade, then I bought an upgrade at the bag vendor, then just like magic the bag upgrade disappeared from the rewards screen. I stand corrected. lol
Brother I'm sorry for this question, but from your wording I didn't quite understand it - you said Stamina will be stronger because of the sets, the medium armor buffs and the two handed skill line while Magicka will slightly underperform? I really struggled understanding that bit because of how you said it.

Stamina builds benefit more from medium armor because most medium armor sets provide stamina, stamina regen, etc. as well as the medium armor skill like providing more stamina recovery. On the other hand, magicka builds benefit from more light armor for the same reasons; light armor provides more magicka regen and light armor sets typically provide more magicka, magicka regen, and so on.

I'm creating an Imperial Arcanist tank with one character slot. Not sure about the other yet. I will likely create heartland conquerer w training at each of the 5 levels (1, 10, 20, 30, 40) maybe just blue since I have a ton of blue mats. One. More. Week.
Just be aware with imperial you will struggle more to reach resistance cap. It depends on what level content you are tanking, though. If you are intending to run a lot of vet dlc hm dungeons and trials, I would go Nord.
@@pklemming i appreciate your feedback. I decided to use some spare crowns for the imperial race recently. Not necessarily for arcanist, but to have access to all races. I might need to rethink this plan. Thanks.
@@hanknorris5642 Imperial is still a great choice, and ultimately you can tank on any race. Nord passives just make life a little easier.
Also, for the arcanist, on PTS I was getting silly regeneration, making the 6% cost reduction less useful than on other classes.
Self-buffed using flat food I had 2148 mag recovery, 1785 health recovery and 1511 stam recovery. Pots will increase this more as will gaining and losing crux. Some skills restore resources too.
I was at 33k resistance, and had no regen enchants(I use tri cost reduction). I was using Pearls, PA and Arch Druid for gear.
The Arcanist tank has awesome sustain, and with Bastion, some massive shields.
Not that this really matters, but I was surprisingly sitting at 4.85k SD/WD and 4.1k pen.

I want to make an unkillable stam (tanky) dps but im not really sure if i should go dark elf so i can have magic builds later or nord for more tankiness while i build my dw/2h for PvP/DPS focus (Not a fan of sword and board or real tanking just want to be annoying to kill and do fair dmg to kill)
I have three alts that speed to L10 with basic class attacks grabbing resto along the way and then heal their way through low level easy quick random dungeons to farm transmutes. They retire at around L40 and start all over again. Trick is to try to level as slowly as possible with these, so I deliberately don't take the dungeon quests - plenty of skill points come along for the limited needs. This way I'm able to choose when I run the chunkier ones with good characters. Actually this is a pretty good way to level even a keeper character. It also means that there are some healers who actually heal in low level dungeon circulation. Still contributing damage with the class attacks of course - in fact, sometimes I'm doing more than the dds...

Yep. I have a high elf templar that I run as stam sometimes, and with tri-pit potions she does fine!
I was running tests on DE and I was regularly exceeding crit damage cap, often by a significant amount.
If you are in remotely organaised groups/trials, the crit damage from Khajit will be useless.
Also, for pve content. Crafted Order's Wrath and, weirdly, Forest Wraith, due to the amount of time spent using arcanist skills and the relatively low la output.
I see no one using forest wraith, but it is a powerful crit set, with good 2-4 lines, as long as you have a strong reliance on class skills.
People ARE slowly turning on to the forest wraith, on some builds it's better than order's wrath but at the moment the perception is that OW is king
Ow is still better because there is always a use for it. You can craft a full set with every slottable piece and just mix and match across characters. Forrest on the other hand is almost exclusive to archanist since no other class is that heavily reliant on their class skill. The closest is templar but even they are better off mix and match their bars with both weapon and class skills.
Only tip I didn't see is that if you have another lowbie there are specific Monster Helms you can Reconstruct at that toons level, pro tip if your a transmute baller! Should mention, you need to know the trait on your lowbie toon so learn training first as you level up, craft some Baby Monster Sets
Which arcanist do you recommend to start with? Magicka or stamina? Im quite new to the game but gonna do pvp mostly. Is it hard class comparing to others?
You'd be playing hardmode.
Arcanist channels as part of their DPS output.
4.5 seconds is a long time in PvP.
.2 seconds into that beam, you will be CCed.
If you're starting out in PvP, I recommend having defense sets and focusing on learning how to survive first. You can't learn to dodge, break out of CC quickly, block, etc... if you are dead instantly.
The more you survive, the more you can change your gear to be offensive.
And if you don't have crafted sets, you're just going to be dying and not learning anything.
Even pre level 50 battlegrounds, players are running purple or sometimes yellow sets. (Though most will opt out of yellow jewelry pre 50)
Also of note: Leveling via battlegrounds is FUN, but you'll be missing out on skill points.
Do the main story quest until your Soul skill line is at least 4. (Unlocks burst of damage when your health drops)
Get BeamMeUp and go to public dungeons to get skill points while you wait for dungeon queues to pop.
At level 45, make sure to start doing Undaunted daily pledges. The passive skills that give you extra health/magika/stam are great for PvP.

I'm quite new but not total noob. I have sorc at max level and 400 cp, just returned to the game and I'm learning how to survive. Bought two sets from traders - pariah and kynmarcher, and now I don't die in 2 seconds : P

If you have a sorc then just make a bash sorc to ruin all those pvp archanist coming in. Unless the game give them some sort of immunity like the bow ulti they will just get bashed or crushing shocked back to oblivion.

I think try the new armor set whit follower, to Ember as archer….. I took Khajiit as first choise, next I think Orc for a tank.

I've never played this game at all.. but I am wondering if it's really worth it ? I see alot of mixed reviews.. people talking about lag, level scaling.. I dont mind spending a little money to get started but i dont wanna get bored after a week spending some time grinding to not really get far ya know ? Any advice ? I have thousands of hours in other elder scrolls I do love it but never got around to playing more than single player yet ( I like mage focused builds the most) are they a good starter one ?
as an introvert the guilds/community alone make it worthwhile I'd say, the elder scroll's theme is just amazing if you like that kind of lore/universe. ALOT of content and different grinds to be had, my biggest issues are when doors in dungeons dont let me through or i have to manually teleport to a player because I didnt get pulled in small bugs to be honest. I even deleted a character missed it and they restored it for me with a support ticket so just an example of the devs too
A random way to add a new stealth class in ESO is a bard class that mixes stealth and magical healing skills this way it doesn't break the lore by adding a new type of magic that isn't cannon It's been EONS since stealth fans have gotten anything too lol. fully agree its a generalist class can do anything in pve well but not to insane degrees. PvP I doubt it will see much play outside of healer and support builds. Zenimax usually likes to nerf things after a year or two as well so I'm holding off on diving into Acanist I'll roll up an alt for funsies but otherwise I'm skeptical on this class. I'm hoping next year brings a new weapon skill line one handed and magic or spears as at this point I'm hitting end game and burning out on the idea o a new class lol. I'm sticking with my Neco boy.

Broken as hell. Very OP.
Not sure about console. But on pc NA EP is the sweat lord faction with everyone over 30k hp minimum. DC is the weirdo faction that is mixed bag in terms of player skill level and play style. And finally AD the RPG cosplayer faction where with many pugs with as some having as little as 19k hp.
So pick carefully and play according to the faction's expectations.
Endeavors are a BAD way to get mount upgrades, unless you truly won't want anything else:
1. Seals of Endeavor vs. gem cost doesn't scale linearly. Low-tier gem items cost more seals per gem than higher-tier items.
2. In the 60 days it takes to train mount, you can get *approximately* 3400 - 4420 Seals. ONE single Crown Lesson = 360 Seals. That's 21,600 Seals for 60. If we make about 425 seals per week, it will take about 50 WEEKS to get 60.
I.e. 9 weeks vs 50. It's faster to just train the horse. Or, 1000 crowns for 10-pack of lessons = just over a million gold on PC NA at current rates. That's not hard to farm.
11:20 I love those PvP sweatlords who Rambo people in Battlegrounds when they should be playing Capture The Relic because I always score a ton of points by actually playing the game and the Rambos discover at the end of the match that they came last with almost no points scored 😂
don't do khajiit, the class already has 12% crit damage from passive.
Don't forget to put CP into leveling 😂
don't forget to already create a character with the name you want so you can delete it and create your arcanist in the middle of the night so noone yoinks the name from you

Actually I would highly recommend farming noobs for a personal guild bank. I created mine at launch, its one of the OG original guilds from launch month, Ive had up to 20 people but it finally evened out at 13 non-active players. There is something about this game that most people dont get past level 40 so if you can farm the noobs odds are you will find people to sign up who will probably never log in again after that day. GET THAT PERSON IN YOUR GUILD, its no harm no foul and if you want to play this game seriously it's so handy to have those 500 slots, but it has to be unbound items ... i use it for holding PVP gear I get and sell. Deltia says dont be that guy, I say BE THAT GUY

You can easily make additional ESO accounts during free to play weekends.
@@zenwilds2911 they were NEVER going to stick around. and there are 4 other guild slots, you are being obtuse. it in NO WAY hurts the game at all. in fact it will help your main guilds trader because you will have lots to sell. People dont listen to this dumdum, get your personal guild bank asap
