Bashing Through the Snow; Reading & Northern Railroad

The first train from Tamaqua, PA to Jim Thorpe, PA on the Reading & Northern Railroad two days after a 24 inch snowfall. The date is Feburary 12, 2010 and everyone is out trying to get the line open again.

It was shot with a Canon DC50. Not the best, but all I could afford for a last minute replacement to the one that died up on the Delaware- Lackawanna a couple of weeks earlier.

Boy that guy at 2:10 was stading a bit close, i know everytime I come across somebody that close when i'm in the cab i get heartburn. There are a ton of things that could go wrong that can end your life in a second. Please be safe, have fun, and shoot some great pics....

GREAT SHOTS. But, 1:40 do they need TWO locos for THREE freight cars?? Maybe save some $$$ with ONE ??
