Terry's 'off the line' call and the play in the end zone with Curtis' arms being pinned down were bad. (yes they missed the face mask in this game, too. For some reason it's not part of the reviewable aspect of the replay)

Kickers this year have been kicking field goals in the 50's and even 60 yards straight down the middle. And they have been missing extra points that are chip shots.
Even in college, they're kicking 55 or more yard field goals.

Not playing really good. The defense and running backs are carrying him hard rn. The energy is there but that duck he threw for an int and fumble to start the game didn’t do anything. If defenses could catch he’d have 10 EASY interceptions minimum in these 5 games. We’re winning but Taylor isn’t doing anything special

This makes me feel better as a Vikings fan because we lost pretty big to the Eagles but came back and beat the Commanders. This shows that the Commanders are not a team to over look.

That kneel-down that Heinicke took when he was scrambling at the end of the game was a 9000 IQ play. Most players wouldn't even think to do that 3+ yards deep. They'd likely slide or fall forward just trying to make up some lost ground. Very underrated play.

I was so pleased to see Heinicke having enough time to throw the ball! Our O-Line stepped up to protect him. Our defense stepped up even more! Our kicker made FGs and extra points. The whole team stepped up and it was such an amazing game to watch! #HTTR #HTTC

There were definitely calls that weren’t called especially that face mask. But the unnecessary roughness on Heinicke after he kneeled down was not BS. Graham had enough time to slow down or at least jump over Heinicke so that he doesn’t seem like he was trying to tackle. Heinicke got up because he knew that it was an unnecessary roughness. Yes, he celebrated and the refs didn’t call for taunting but Heinicke wasn’t taunting or getting into any Eagles players faces. Instead, he ran off where no Eagles players and celebrated.

Great game by the commanders their d-line did amazing and their defense really showed off their true potential to the crowd and they played with heart and that offense toasted the Eagles defense. That give-up play by Heinicke was sublime, his timing was perfect, and he knew he had nailed it when the flags came, both defenders look like they were committed to the tackle as Heinicke took the knee, so it was a brilliant percentage play by the Commanders QB.
I actually think it was just awful decision making from the defenders. If you pause it as soon as Heinicke takes the knee, neither of them are anywhere close. One of them even slips and gets back up again to make the tackle, all after the QB has already taken the knee.

Watched at .25x speed. Paused right when he was giving himself up with the knee down. Eagles really thought that mans was Lamar Jackson hitting him with the fake knee or somethin because they weren't that close nor mid launch or initiating a tackle. Just game pressure, and the unexpected, causing a lapse of judgment. Taylor aint out here playing 4D chess, but he's been just enough for the Commanders these last few games.

That's what you call never quiting. Washington was the underdog and took it straight to Philly. Ran it right down their throat. Good old school football. I was expecting a fullback to show up any time during one of those drives. Philly got outplayed and outcoached. Just shows that their is a lot more parity between these teams than the records show.

Just goes to show how good any given pro team can be despite the record. Also crazy how just a couple of years ago the NFC east was mocked. Washington beat the Eagles, damn near beat the Vikings. Last week that defense shut the Vikes down most of the game. If they keep up this type of play they might have a chance to sneak into the wild card round.
Washington is NOT a team I would want the Vikes to play again in the playoffs.
Except they quit by not kicking the extra point at end of the game. I line up and take that last point. I remember the patriots did this to the jets a while back. The jets left the field. The patriots lined up by themselves and got the 2 points
Heinicke has Tom Brady vibes man. He doesn’t seem to care about anything other than leading his team to victory. Doesn’t get bogged down or distracted, just determined and focused. Knows who he is and what he can do
Not the most talented, however just imagine if all the players had the passion and the heart of this guy, that would be really easy to coach that team.

Great gameplan by the commanders. Shrunk the game, efficient on 3rd down. Forced Turnovers, never flinched. Got points when they could. Really embraced the challenge against a great defensive line. Just a complete game. As a Vikings Fan, I say thank you!
