I am so happy that I found acrylic pouring/fluid art a few years ago. It has helped me in so many ways and it just keeps getting better and better. This visual arts creative outlet has made me so happy. I am loving this abstract art! I hope to keep doing this for years to come! I have always been fascinated by modern and contemporary art. There is something about it that is so freeing and expressive. I love acrylic pouring because I get to experiment and really join the creative side of my brain with the scientific part! There are so many different fluid acrylic pouring techniques out there, so much more to try and have fun with. Make sure you are subscribed to my channel so that you may learn and be creative with me. I love hearing all of your comments. Thank you for sharing your art Molly. I'm obsessed
Absolutely love watching you!!!

Molly I have been watching you for at least 2 years now, and I'm just finding out that you do coasters???? WHAT😂 What else do you do? You have all types of tricks up your sleeve 😂

They’re so beautiful.
Beautiful. Will definitely try them ! Love the color choices!
Love them all but especially that last one 💜
Thank you!
OMG Molly, I love the coasters, and I love the cells. Can’t wait for that video. Awesome work!!!
Thanks Shane!
Love your videos! You are easy to listen to and a great teacher. Thank you for sharing your talent!! I am just blown away that you have such perfect outcomes from 3 very different techniques and the same paint consistency! Just fascinating... And you make them all look so easy! lol I've been watching videos for months now and have tried pouring 4 times, and each time i say that "they make it look so easy..but it's sooooo not" lol
Thank you! It gets a little easier as you go along and find what pouring medium and what consistency work for you! Keep trying! Hope you have fun with it!
Pretty colors as always 🤩
Love all your work Molly, everything is always beautiful!!
Thank you so much milisa
What a neat idea and so beautiful!! Thank you

@@MyFavoriteNolaThings bahahah
The last 2 were my favorites!!!
Thanks, I just started doing coasters tonight. Thanks for the great video as always!
I loved those colours. Great video.
Thank you I’m so happy I found this video because I’ve been struggling with my tiles. I think I got it now.
These are great. Thanks for sharing!
An oldie but goodie, Molly! Love this set! I am about to make some for gifts and wanted to find a good how-to...I should have known you would have one! Thanks for sharing!! :)

😍 gorgeous!!
These are so much fun. I am doing coasters and hot plates.
Thank you for the ideas.
I shall try them on my tiles.
I've done some by dipping in left over paint from canvas
They are fantastic! Yes please do a video on cells. You, Karen, Julie and Christina make it all look so easy. It flows. (Bad Paint pour joke!)
Hahaha. Ok, I want it to be comprehensive with multiple mediums and different silicone products, but I will try to make one next week!
This is amazing! I can't wait to try some of these tomorrow!! Thanks for your great tutorial!💕💕💕
This was a very helpful video on coasters Molly... thank you so much... it has inspired me to have a go on my wood rounds this afternoon... I must buy some tiles as i think they would be a lot easier to handle somehow... :)
you are an inspiration!
Molly, these coaster/tiles are way too awesome! Absolutely stunning and fascinating to watch them being made. :)
Thank you!! They are fun little pieces of art! love that they are functional too!
So blessed to God be all the glory. Keep looking up Wow.. czcams.com/video/Ar-pAdtvRro/video.html
Beautiful ❤️
Today I will paint coasters. 💃!
Have fun!
Beautiful Molly!!
Thank you!
Lovely thanks for sharing
Thank you so much. Enjoy you so. I have learned a lot
Beautiful tiles! I love the colors. I am thinking of making a back splash using tiles and these would be perfect. Do you have a suggestion for resin? Thank you for your video!
Awesome details and effects. Glad I got to see the process, it was fun. 😎👍♥️
Thank you!
These are super cool Molly! I can picture a kitchen with a backsplash of Molly Tiles.
I am all over your house remodel!
Singer Island Adventures: Absolutely! I had the same thought in mind when watching the video. :)
Laurie P I was also imagining a giant wave across a few dozen different little tiles that would be sweet 🌊
@@singerislandadventures5018 Wouldn't that be just so neat? But individually, altho none would be the exact same, they would make a very impressive kitchen, or bathroom tiled wall. Oh my, they are so beautiful. :)
Fabulour Molly love all your stuff, you are one talented girl !!!
Thank you so much!
Love the three styles you shared with us . They are beautiful! Thank you. Three quick questions-
1. Can any acrylics work ?
2. Did you say the that after pouring , you have to cure for 21 days, before resin? I am assuming that just means drying in a protected area ( or anything else involved like baking, etc?).
3. Have you already done your video for cells?
Thanks
Love your coasters. Thanks so much for sharing your method. Do you varnish before resining them?
Thank you! No I do not I just wipe with lysol and alcohol and then resin with stone coat countertop resin!
Hi Molly. Thank you for sharing your expertise. It's such a pleasure watching you create beautiful pieces of art. I am an avid follower. Please advise what name brand of glue you use to put the cork on the back of the tiles. Thanks.
Do you have to use specific type of tile when doing these? These are awesome!
Very cool
They are all pretty!
Do you use a base coat or a pillow?
I did use a base coat
Ty!
These are so beautiful!! I wonder if you took 4 inches X 4 inches?
These are so cool I live doing coasters but getting Bloom burn out 😂… thank you for this awesome video.. I love the wave
Glad you like them!
Molly what do you do to the top of coaster to prevent glasses / cups from sliding off the smooth top? Your art is so beautiful. I am doing your art class. Thanks
I love all of these! Can you go into more detail about the top coat?
Hi Molly love these. are you just using ceramic tiles for these?
This is incredible! Im a beginner. Can I get those cells with just the paint and floetrol?
Stunning! Do you or does anyone know if she is using tiles to make these ?
Do you use the same materials as you would use for your paint pouring...like the resin or you have to use the countertop resin?
Can I use a heat gun instead of torch? Love this process
You can
Molly your PM is it thé same ratio for the colors and base, your work is amazing
💕💕💕💕
Hi Molly! So awesome! I am about to start pouring on coasters. I could not find your tutorial on Stone Coat Resin. Please advise.
What do you seal your coasters with? I have Kbs diamond finish and ks resin stone coat. Is there a sealant you recommend or prefer for heat resistance?
I love ks resin!
Amazing Amazing!!! Where did you get the coasters?
How long should I wait to resin my coasters after I’ve painted them?
😊💗💗💗👏🏻
Is there any Spray? Or for TopCoat to make it shine and cover the whole coaster with acrylic paint??? thank you! 💕💕I really love it😍
Beautiful! I’m wondering if you need to prime the tiles so the paint adheres. Are they glossy tiles, or does the tile finish matter?
Thank you! For me, the paint adheres with no priming. They are glossy, I personally don't think the finish matters.
MOLLY'S ARTISTRY Thanks, Molly 💓🌷
I learn a lot from you! Do you always make them with tiles?
Yes I do!
Love this. Would it work on a bigger canvas?
Yes! I have done 20 by 24in and could definately be done larger
Hi Molly, great video! how much do you sell your coasters for and how many do you sell in a month? Thanks
I use stone coat countertop resin as well, but I’ve had some people request a matte finish. Do you have any suggestions?
I decided to do coasters, but do you do any prep work on the ceramic tiles, like "roughing up" the surface? Also, if I want to make trivets, do I use a heat resistant resin?
They are so beautiful, I love doing the wave. Do you sign your coasters?
I just started signing them actually! Christina welch gave ne that idea
Do you sign them on the front or back
@@wendylamb8645 back beside the cork on the tile
Do you ue anything to pretreat the tiles? I just love the waves, so beautiful.
I pour right on them!
I did a set! Don’t know how to share the photos with you. But they turned out awesome. Thank you.
Great job! Email me at info@mollys-artistry.com
Hi, your cell textures are so beautiful! I would like to do something similar, but do you have a video or link of how you do your color paint mixtures? I can’t seem to find it
What do you mean how I color them? You mean how I mix my paint? I don't normally show that on Gardner, but I always tell the mixture I use in the description!
🤗👍❤️
Wow those are amazing. I really love the last one. The ring one!! Sorry I'm new at this lol I really want to do more of these paint pours. I've only done 2. 5x7 inside of a disposable aluminum pan on my kitchen floor. I'm limited to space cuz I live in a small apartment. I was told i shouldn't use resin in my sm apart. cuz its toxic. Is that true? Also If u can give me any suggestions on how to be able to do bigger canvas/projects in my sm. Space I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanku. I enjoy watching u. I learn a lot from u too. Sorry for long msg.
Thank you! You don't need to Much space, just lots of plastic or paper to conver up! For key chap you can buy a large wash pan (the link is below my video on my Amazon storefront) and that will catch all of your drips. Place some dowels overtop and you have a workspace for large paintings! Art resin in ok to use without a respirator for most, but I don't know if you have any health conditions, so I can't say for sure. It has very low odor but can be kind of expensive
Thanku so much for your help molly. I will ck out your video! Enjoy your day.
Hi Molly, so what do you put on the coaster itself before you pour? And after you pour and torch what do you use to seal the paint when done..thank you..I'm very new at this.😊
looks great, but I have a question, when u swipe w/ your knife, are u putting anything on the back of your knife, to "swipe ! ??
Love your work! What is an alternative to resin?
Not much of an alternative in my opinion if you are looking for heat resistance . Otherwise you can varnish
Hi Molly, thank you for sharing. Are all your radios in grams when you give your numbers for pouring mediums?
They are in ml normally
When you do tiles as your canvas, do you put your PM on the tile before you put the paint on it?
No that was white paint
when you use the torch how are cells created without silicone? I've tried and nothing happens with just paint. love your work
It depends on the brand of paint and the piuring medium you use. Some create cells when heated and others dont
Hello. How long do you allow the paint on the coasters to cure/dry before adding the resin?
3 to 4 weeks
Very beautiful!! Do you have a video on the green coasters?
No, sorry
Hi, Molly. What do you put underneath your tiles to elevate them above your work surface?
Hi! I was just using little 3oz cups
Can you use a heat gun instead of a torch?
Seriously amazing. Alis there a reason you don't use silicone sometimes?
Thank you it is harder to clean off especially if you are going to be using resin on your painting and it's not needed I get great cells without it I still use it sometimes if IM doing a flip cup or a swipe
@@MOLLYSARTISTRY thank you, i just used it for the 1st time and the cells were epic. I did it for my 1st flip cup.
What do you use to make these heat/cold resistant?
Hello Molly, new subscriber. How long does it usually take to fully cure before you glaze? Love watching. Thanks
Hi! It takes about 2 to 4 weeks to let all the water evaporate so that you wont get clouding. How long depends on the mediums used and how thick your paints are!
Can I use large thick cardboard jigsaw puzzle pieces to do these, or does it have to be ceramic tiles
. These are beautiful and what is the silicone for and where can I buy it.. Do you have to dilute the paint? And when I dries you just pour the resin on It??
The silicone is to create cells it is not needed but helps the cells form easily it is an oily substance so you do have to clean it before you put resin on it you can wash the surface of the painting or wipe it down with a lysol wipe or alcohol you can put cornstarch on it to get rid of the oily substance to soak some of it up. I use spot on treadmill silicone oil. I get it off amazon
Molly I so enjoy your videos and am taking your smart Art Courses. Happen to come across this video on coaster put I didn't get what you said on what you use for the resin? Thank You
thanks debra, glad you are enjoying the course! i use ks resin now!
I love your art. Alas, there was no closed captioning and I’m hearing impaired. I’ve lost 50% of my hearing. You nearly always have CC. I just wanted to let you know. The tiles look wonderful. Are the tiles used on backsplashes ? I can see endless possibilities. Love the one with the spiral look and the small area with what looks like metallics are maybe just colors that mixed and came out that way.
Hi sheila! Thank you! The closed captioning is an option that is chosable for the viewer. I have it turned on. Check on the screen for the option to turn on! Sorry that happened! The tiles are bathroom tiles, but they will be for coaster sets! Yes, there was some metallic gold in there! Let me know if you find the closed caption option if not I will have to look into that!

Hi Molly, where do you buy your tiles. The ones in Home Depot have slight projections on the sides.
Yes thats all they have now a days. The other ones got discontinued. You can sand or file down those parts though
I missed whether or not you used silicone on the first tiles you did (not the flip cup). Help, please! Thank you so much.
I am an avid follower!
Nope! No silicone until the flip cups!
Hi Molly! I have coaster that came with cork already attached. Do you think I should tape the bottom of them? Thank-you… from a big fan of yours xo
i would tape the bottom if the cork is already on them! thanks so much!
