This performance blows my mind, A Swedish band singing in English about an American WW1 Medal of Honor winner that captured 25 machine guns, killed 25 German soldiers and captured another 132 nearly single handed to a German crowd. So many old animosities have fallen away. Despite what some groups would have you believe.
Mr worldwides
The most mind blowing video I saw was the video of Ghost Division being sung in France. A full blown French audience singing about a German tank division that ripped through France.
If I remember correctly, Noch Ein Bier is "One More Beer".
Yes you are correct! (I am from Germany ;-))
Apparently Joakim was a music teacher for a year in his early 20's (he also studied radio, computer, electronic ect. stuff and worked for a telecommunications firm as a supportguy on the phone/computer...)
He was asked by that same school (according to interviews) to come and teach a class that combined music, english and history for some 13-16 year olds. (That had to have been sometime in the last decade. Not sure exactly when.)
So not only do teachers use Sabaton in their classes, but Joakim has himself used his own music and research to teach kids, which is pretty mindblowing.
Oh, and I *think* one of the regular (same 5 women since 2005) Sabaton female choir members is/was a teacher in that school, which is how the school could just call Joakim and ask if he wanted to do it.
At least that lady was Pär's teacher back in the day...
They did a correction to the original lyrics in this performance...
Alvin York was assigned to the 328th, but trusted sources, at the time of writing the lyrics, was saying 338th.
The studio version of this song has the incorrect infantry number.
as a kid i was lucky enough to talk with a WW1 82nd Vet who was the Battalion Sgt Maj. for 3/328 and was the only 1 wounded in action out of all the Sgt Maj's in the division. he always had fun telling the story of how he got hit during the big push. as they were advancing a single hun plane flew over he took cover behind a small bush . well he drop a small bomb and it landed right next too him and he got it right in the ass (he would lean to his side and point to his butt) he was like out of all the others laying out in the open he was the only 1 that got hit who was under some cover.
Sabaton has just started their US Tour a couple of days ago! They are playing in Phoenix today...going to Vegas tomorrow and stays in the U.S and Canada throughout october!
I couldn’t find anything near Florida am I missing it?
Please react to Tommy Johansson The big guy on the guitar
He have his own youtubechannel with a lot of amacing cowers
He is an multiinstrumentalist who play all the instrument himself and his singingvoice is cracy
Maybe you should start with some Gary Moore or Queen cower
Tommy is crazy talented and he has one of the best voices I have heard
he's an expert beer drinker, maybe because he's half Czech, you can't deny his genes 😉
Sabaton in gonna be here in Salt Lake City on the 27th
Amaranthe cover of this one is great
You should check them out

I concur
Or Sabaton and Amaranthe together live from Oslo
The Audience are German Sabaton fan's who are chanting " ONE MORE BEER" in German NOT " hold my beer ". We have a lot of similarities between us English and our German cousins as some of there words are in the English language. BRITISH SABATON FAN 💂♂️💂♂️💂♂️💂♂️🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🏴🏴🏴🇸🇪🇸🇪💙💛🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦
You should check out the same song and the same tour but from Oslo when Joakim takes a break during the song (with some others who got to sing)
This looked like one of the bigger arenas in Europe, appart from the festivals.
When they are touring Sweden, the venues are more or less like in the US, 1200 to 4000 or so.
It wouldn't surprice me if the number gets even lower in some parts of northern Sweden.
The exceptions are when they play the big cities like Stockholm and Gothenburg.
why stop it and dont let it run out ? dont get it...
I think you clicked on the wrong video. This is a reaction video. It’s where I, a person who has never heard the music before reacts to it in real time. You wanted the original video without disruption. Link is in description.
@@massivemetalreactions you do miss out if you keeping that up with sabaton, just saying...
