Indian Railway needs to spend 5 lakhs Crore/years for next 20 years to complete entire demand of the nation. Bullet Train projects can be taken up later on since Technology is not saturated.
List out all Sanctioned Railway projects & Proposed Railway projects State wise. Another 1.2 lakh Km new Railway lines are in demands in various States.
Levy Railway GST in both Direct Taxes & Indirect Tax including Liquor, Petrol & Diesel and allocate funds State wise.
Railway can't mobilise such huge amount/year. Taking loan to build Railways will lead to increased Ticket fare which in turn will be a failed project.
Railway modernisation will contribute 2% additional GDP growth to country. China is already doing that

Bullet trains are the stupidest project for India. Mumbai Ahmedabad bullet train project cost is 1.1 lac crore rs. For this cost they can build 800+ brand new vande Bharat trains. Or they can spend this money to rapidly upgrade railway tracks for vande Bharat.
You are trying to become smart. But you don't have knowledge. How government work on track upgrading and vande bharat and u also don't know the cost of bullet train.

INDIA doesn't require bullets trains .India requires basic rail infrastructure which we don't have ..we talk about spending crores of money on bullets train we also listens rail accident news..we have to plan our journey well advance 2..3 months ago to get confirm train tickets..there are lots of issue that should be resolve first

Any train starting or ending in Hyderabad has higher passenger revenue generation on all India basis. So bullet train from or to Hyderabad will always be on high priority
Only Hyd route will be in success becoz its in the middle and same distance to mumbai,B'lore and Chennai.its in the middle boss and here people power purchasing parity is high in hyd they can even afford Bullet trajns at whatever the cost.
