After attempting a few times (as indicated), I was able to program a FOB I got from a junkyard. The tips were very helpful to understand the process.
Bought a different brand but the procedure worked right away. Have only one key but now I at least have two fobs.

several things are still vague in my mind
1 did you trade/buy a "new" / replacement truck that did not have any door opener fobs ?
2 what is/are the remotes for the alarms ?
3 what are the things you got from amazon ? fobs ?
4 what is the red-white-blue 1 - 2 - 3 thing ? it looks like an advertisement card .
5 what were the step-by-step procedures you did to program the new blank fob(s) ?

Watched your video and it was good info. I've had my 99 f-f-150 for 10+ years , did these cars always have key fob that would remote lock unlock/ alarm ? I see the theft light flicker but I've never hard an alarm go off.
Checking my 03 f150 window sticker says..
STANDARD EQUIPMENT INCLUDED AT NO EXTRA COST..and remote keyless entry is in the list. I have a lot of OPTIONAL EQUIPMENT but no need to list keyless entry there .. already included. Looks like all 10 gens have it but I'm not sure.

So this worked when you didn’t have any remote to begin with? I watched other videos and they said you needed to hit the lock and unlock button on a remote to help with the program? Cause my truck didn’t come with any
I didn't have a remote to begin with but the ones I ordered came with a card for me to go online and it will tell me how to program it.

My 1997 doesn’t have any buttons on the door is all manual, no power windows no power locks so I don’t know if this remote will work .
Well if you have a stripped down version of your truck it might not. Do you have a build sheet. Not sure if car fax could tell you if your truck came from the factory with a alarm
My truck at one point had remote entry w/ alarm and it too had no unlock/lock buttons on the door panels nor did it have power windows

My door locks are cycling the entire time I’m turning the key on and off. Any advice?
So when you turn your ignition on your doors are unlocking and locking by themselves
@@RpmAuto yeah so my door locks automatically lock when I turn the truck on and automatically unlock when I turn it off. I think that may be throwing it off somehow
I don't know that's kind of weird I know when you put the truck in reverse it's supposed to automatically lock. It's got to be some kind of control unit that operates that. Have you tried googling it

Help : I got a 2002 Ford f150 Super crew, All I did was jump my ford Taurus with my truck real quick, after that my truck remote didn't work, I put new battery in remote, Do I need to reprogram it again, Thanks ...
Probably so. That weird but you can try reprogramming it and see
@@RpmAuto very weird I know, It was working before the jump I did, Went right away got replacement battery for remote but wont unlock doors , only by key, had to hold my blinking alarm reset button to start truck, Will try the reprogram method an update, may need a whole new remote...thanks, I've always heard if it's just the battery replaced no need to reprogram...will see .
@@RpmAuto Update: on my 2002 ford Supercrew I did the 8 time key cycle, on the second try the remote with the new battery installed is now working so far ! Will see how long..
Will this work if my door switches don’t work? Like will I be able to program the key if my door lock buttons don’t work?
Not sure. I would think so. You are just going to use it for the alarm system since your door locks don't work

Thanks. It's a one owner. It sat since 2015 after a wreck that the insurance company salvage titled. The lady bought it back from the insurance company and parted it. It only bent the frame where the bumper bolts. Her close friend bought it and fixed frame and put it up for sale. Every document in the truck shows where it was last serviced and insured in 2015. I am in the process of getting title cleared of the salvage situation.

It may be something wrong with your factory security system. Check all your fuses and make sure they are good
I have a 97 f150 I'm trying it but I dont hear a buzz or the locks
Do your truck have power locks or manual. And if you have power locks are both door actuators good when you hit the lock and unlock button. If you hit the unlock and lock button and nothing happens check your fuses
@@RpmAuto I have power locks and only my driver side actuator is good. But outside of programming my driverside works and you can hear it working but when turning the key 8 times my locks dont cycle
@@alikariem592 try disconnecting the battery and then do the process over.
I'm not really sure then maybe your alarm system has a problem. You might have to get a aftermarket alarm

It might not have one. I don't know how you could tell. Unless you contact the dealer or find a build sheet in the truck somewhere. It will have it on there somewhere

Well my truck is a 2000 and when I bought the keypads it said 2003 2013 so I don't know about a 97 you might need to check the place where you got yours from and see if it go to that your year
