He also did a great job strategizing to create that friendship because you can tell it was well thought out based on the fact that they had similar sad backstories and were placed in a situation where they were forced to trust and rescue each other multiple times.
I reallly hope we get to see them interact again someday. Maybe a short story about what happened in Albany? Maybe a Sun and the star 2.0 but this time they have an unfinished bussines jn albany alongside with Leo and Calypso and so they go there too... Anyone else wonder if Reyna is/was Maria di Angelo in a past life? Like Nico never truly saw his mom's spirit despite how much he's been in the Underworld. Reincarnation canonically exists. Maria dies long before Reyna was born. Then Reyna acts like a mother/sister figure to him. Like this is just the best friendship in the series but like I can't be the only one who thought of this, can I?
