    The Bluetooth compatibility is the issue over both win 10 and 11. Most of these builders may have experience with the hardware build, but not with wireless 🛜 hardware. I also find that didn’t provide a cover to block the intense light.
    Please could do a review of the plotter?
    Video was 👍👍👍

    Thank you so much for this video. I've been considering a laser engraver but most of the videos that I've found are glorified sales pitches, without much useful information. One of the main uses that I have for one is engraving on hand-turned wood pens. Would I need the rotary roller to engrave on pens that are ~ 15-18mm in diameter?

    A great video, thanks. I am interested in purchasing a 20w laser engraver. I am concerned about the noise of these high powered diode lasers. I have heard that the Neje is quieter than most. You never mentioned this but do you think that this is so? Thanks

  • @CrisAnderson27

    Loving your reviews. Out of all of the lasers/brands you've reviewed so far, which is your preference? I'm really thinking of going with the Neje. I already have the 3s Max with the A40640...but I'm really wanting to take advantage of the improved power and speed of the new unit.

    • @CrisAnderson27
      @CrisAnderson27 Před 9 měsíci +3

      I bought the NEJE, and the power supply quit within 48hrs lol. The laser itself though is excellent, cutting construction grade 4.5mm luan plywood at 500mm/m-100% one pass. In addition...realignment has been incredible. I can home the machine and restart it at the exact position I choose. The stepper motors stay locked, meaning they don't relax like other machines (or NEJE's old machines), which is what causes poor alignment. In addition homing zeroes the machine to .001mm accuracy per NEJE. So far, I'm inclined to believe them as this was one thing I've tested purposely.
      Also, I believe the reason that NEJE rates it at 20,000hrs is their much improved cooling system. 100% cooper heat sink and excellent air flow is top of the line.

  • @atienne_navarre
    @atienne_navarre Před rokem +3

    You are correct. NEJE is HORRIBLE at documentation. I bought the MAX3 and information on how to focus the laser head is all over the place. They even have in house videos on here that contradict each other. I probably wouldn't buy another laser from them because of this. The hardware is pretty good ONCE you learn how to use it which is a lot of hit or miss and searching. Im probably going to replace the variable laser head on the MAX3 with something else even though Ive hardly used it. I mainly bought it for the size anyway.

    • @KatherineSandersis
      @KatherineSandersis Před rokem

      There are always various ways to focus. It's just that people offer more quality methods than their official ones. I like open design. A fixed approach will make it easier for the user, however an open design will make your creation more remarkable. 😉

    • @AuroraTech
      @AuroraTech  Před 11 měsíci

      A desktop diode laser cannot generate as much power. You might want to consider the xTool P2, a 55W CO2 laser: czcams.com/video/z9SGXoqy9N0/video.html.

    Hello, I have a question. What is the accuracy of cutting a circle? I had one model from Atomstack, and there the cutting accuracy fluctuated around the circumference by 0.4 mm. It didn't make me an even circle, but rather an uneven ellipse. I want to buy NEJE MAX for the size of the structure, but I am afraid that this problem will get worse. So far, I haven't had a laser other than Atomstack. It cuts the rectangle/square exactly to 0.02mm, but it can't handle the circle. That's why I'm interested in how it is with NEJE, since it has a completely different construction. well thank you

    No where on the site doesn't mention watts.
    What is 80 module?

    • @MarcusBuer
      @MarcusBuer Před 4 měsíci

      This is an issue with almost all diode laser engraver brands. They try to use in marketing materials and product naming how many watts the machine uses instead of optical power, to make the customer think the machine is more powerful than it actually is.
      This machine has an optical power of 20 watts, probably using four 5w diodes.
