في شهر أكتوبر سنة 1951 ، يأجر سعد اسكندر شونة على ترعة المحمودية لتخزين الحبوب وخيوط النسيج ، وفي يوم من الأيام يعدي أدام الشونة تاجر قماش متجول ببضاعته على عربية خشب ، ومن وقاحة سفاح كرموز ودنائته يطمع في البضاعة والفلوس اللي كانت مع التاجر ده .

One day, a wandering textile merchant passed in front of this warehouse with goods on a wooden cart, and because of the rudeness and meanness of the thug Karmouz, he coveted the goods and money that this merchant owned.
