Nice job. Get yourself a little lathe mate. They're not expensive and make this sort of thing so much easier and more accurate. Opens up options too for bowls etc. Subscribed.
Agree Graham. In fact I have an old mini lathe but haven't yet got the attachments I need to make the wheels - especially the rim recesses. Sometime.... Cheers, Bruce.

I came across your videos just a few days ago, I subscribed after watching the first on. I've been a scroll er some 20+ years now but just started with making toys lately. been gathering as much info as I can.i like your style and the projects you do are fantastic. hopefully I'll be able to build some nice toys. my wife suprised me by ordering a pattern pattern pack of 30 simple, easy to make toys, I've built about 7 or 8 so far and even started to modify them into other designs, such as an old ford car, I made a pickup truck version. I'm no carpenter but I love craft type woodworking. it sure helps me as I've spent the last almost 3 years battling cancer, which I won!!!!!. No more cancer but the treatments about killed me, still messed up pertty bad but I'm getting better each passing day, just slow but I'm making it. Thanks for taking time to share your knowledge with the rest of us. Thank you very much. Keep up the good work and may God bless you. looking forward to your next project. Thanks again.
Good to hear you are on the road to recovery, James. Been down that journey many years ago but, as an old bloke, my video making gets interrupted by other health issues. Making toys is a great way to keep the mind and body active and, like you, I take designs and add my own touches. I have a scroll saw but haven't done a great deal with it yet. Best wishes, Bruce.
