Yes - the girls were mad at him. The character "Me" has been in a coma for 16 days. His father (played by Mike Mills) comes to the hospital bed to taunt and make fun of "Me", calling him a "Loser". In "The Human Equation", many of Me's emotions have singing parts. In this video, the girls are singing the part of Me's "Rage" at his father.

And for your information, Arjen often calls the keyboard player a LUL (see also video of The Day that the World Breaks Down), and that is affectionate, though it is a Dutch four letter word (d*ck). Just so you understand that strange word in the clip ;-)

The organ part remebers me a bit of Deep Purple where John Lord produced these kind of hammond sounds.

So much love for Ayreon... But the stage play on this sing is SOOOO fun! Not often out side of musicals you get the singers, musicians, actually playing out on stage! Great keys solo to onstage action! Fun video!

This song is a part of a larger story involving a man who gets into a car accident and ends up in a coma. The story plays out in his head as well as many characters who come to visit him in the hospital in his comatose state. Each song is called Day One, Day Two and so on. Like a Broadway musical.

This song has quite a different vibe to what you've heard of Ayreon so far. It is part of an album that tells the story of a man that has fallen into a coma and has to deal with his emotions while others are dealing with the consequences of him being in a coma. The emotions he deals with get their own voice, so there is quite a range in vibes on this album. The man also recalls moments of his life as he deals with his situation, one of which was this song.
This album story ties into the Ayreon universe, but as it focuses mainly on the range of human emotions and dealing with them, it has had a special place for me for over 15 years.

This is from the album: the human equation. There’s a theatrical performance of this album called The theatrical equation. With Floor Jansen’s sister Irene.
Lul is Dutch slang for dick. See the extras on the dvd of this concerts on why sir Joost van den Broek, keyboard player, is called this way.

LUL means dickhead in Dutch, and Arjen lovingly calls Joost the keyboard player a LUL. :)

So great. Meanwhile after yesterday session celebrating David Longdon, I found on CZcams he performed the song Spectral Mornings by Steve Hackett with the band Magenta. I think that band from Wales you really should check, as you like early progrock from Genesis, Yes and King Crimson. I guess it is called neoprog, I like their song Bela (after the famous horror actor) czcams.com/video/Y6USrkjBCCM/video.html and others things multi-instrumentalist Rob Reed posted on his channel. People who know the band better may have more worthy suggestions.
