  • In this video I just combine some various clips of using the Stabicraft 1450 in good and bad weather, with 1, 2 or 3 people in the boat. This is not a flash video but shows you RAW. I’d like to add that I am very new to having this boat, so working out the best ways to do things slowly.
    I feel very safe in the Stabicraft 1450 and I purchased it so I would have no worries fishing in bays or inland lakes or creeks/rivers. I have about 10% skill in driving the thing and learn something new every time I go out. Even with my low skill level as a boater, this boat is highly capable, so in the hands of someone that has been boating for years, it would be unstoppable.
    I’ve gotta say…. I LOVE THIS BOAT, with special thanks to M.Y Marine mymarine.com.au/ who got this beast in for me and kitted it out!

    To all those that will comment "but your channel name is LandfishTV and you are in a boat" LandfishTv is all about landing the fish, I have fun doing it and filming it no matter how I do it :), so sit back and enjoy what's on offer.
    This is my honest review (If I think something is CRAP, I won’t recommend it), I was not paid to make this video, but links in the description may go to some products where I may be working with companies and may receive some funds for sales

    Love this, good honest look at the 1450 in all sorts of conditions, it certainly seems like a bigger boat on the water than its size suggests.

    How the minn kota in rough weather? I have a 1450 myself and deciding weather to get the 12v or the 24v with abit more power and longer length.

      I have been out in lots of different weather and mine has been fine. The only thing I would change if I could is get a longer shaft as in some swell when the boat is bouncing, the bow comes up high enough to lift the prop out of the water.

      What is a port console? Wind screen for a passanger? How much does it cost?

    • @ME-qq2dc
      @ME-qq2dc Před rokem

      @@ia6980 exactly the same as the console on the starboard side for the skipper except has a storage compartment as you obviously don't have steering etc. I got the port console but no port seat, my passenger sits on the icey-tech cooler which comes with a squab. This means i don't lose too much fishing space but passenger gets a dryer ride and a wind break. Port console was $1329 at the time i ordered mine. May be more now.

    Hi mate. When are you doing a review of your 1450, I’d be really interested. These hulls are exactly the same hulls as far as I can see as the old 1410 as I believe they have now included the dive platforms in length (mate had a 1410 and advised me) but I may be wrong. The old 1410’s were about $12k. Now the pro fish is about 43k. They look like a nice boat but I’m failing to see how they are justifying such a massive jump in price when they don’t seem to have that much added. What’s your thoughts as an owner

    • @LandFishTV
      @LandFishTV  Před 2 lety +1

      I'll end up doing a review and rundown. I have never seen a 1410, so can't comment on the difference. The 1450 is a great boat though.... But yes ..,..a bit expensive.

    • @jonramos2161
      @jonramos2161 Před 2 lety +1

      The only similarity between the 1410 and 1450 hulls is that they are both aluminum! The 1450 is longer, wider, deeper and a different deadrise. The 1410 is a great little dink. The 1450's are a fantastic little ship!

    I recently managed to land 48 saltwater species on artificial/plastics! That's not counting the freshwater fish species and other weird wonders that I have hooked as well. I also finally reached 500 subscribers as well. Milestones have been reached this year!!!
