    For all your viewers, comfrey is an edible plant. The leaves are widely and commonly used for consumption in Africa, steamed or cooked. I would say if anyone wants to try it, just cook one leaf and see how you feel. I eat the plant and also make healing oils. Both are priceless. Blessings from Slovakia

      @@GreenWitchHomestead I’ve seen plenty of CZcams homesteaders talk about eating it. We need to stop being afraid of things we were lied to about. The research that demonized this plant was an absolute joke. It’s obvious the study was designed to make comfrey look dangerous. They could have made kale look just as dangerous in a study like that.

      @MiamiLuv from a business aspect, freedom of speech is obsolete. Yes, I have the freedom to say whatever I want. But that does not protect me or my business from the reprocutions of what I say.
      Now when you throw medical into the mix here in the US we have the Drug administration to deal with and they determin what is or is not aloud to be used based on what they deam safe. Are they correct... sometimes. But even if they are not, I can not legally give what could be considered medical advice that goes against their rulings or risk federal charges.

    In France we do not infuse plant emulsions in direct sunlight because it detroys the plant's medicinal properties. We place the jar in a paper bag or in a cloth sac; otherwise your recipe is just like mine !

      I grow cut flowers and this year used the beautiful blue and pink flowers in an arrangement as a filler. I will use it every year from now on, as the vase life is incredibly long! The comfrey stem blooms outlasted all the other flowers I used in the arrangement! Infact I still have them holding up in the vase 10 days after I made the arrangement! And only cut them back one time after about day 5!😊❤🎉 I also use the cut leaves as fertilizer. Both chop and drop and as a tea. Love this plant!

      No. Do not consume. Comfrey like I said in the video is applied topically. On the skin at the affected site.
      Use the fresh leaves like a bandage or make the salve and massage it in.
      Comfrey can not help with teeth pain. Try clove oil for that

      Here’s How To Use Comfrey For Dental Inflammation
      To use comfrey for dental problems:
      Take a leaf of either dried or fresh comfrey and turn it into a chew. Folding the leaves inward will be more comfortable as the top of the prickly comfrey leaves can have quite a rough or spikey texture. The fresher upper leaves are often less hairy and very well tolerated in small amounts.
      Roll the folded-up comfrey leaf around in your mouth, focusing on the particular area of concern while sucking on the juices this creates.
      Leave the leaf chew on top of the cavity area for a while if you like as this will increase the amount of comfrey in contact with the inflamed area.
      This process will assist the body to heal any abscesses, infection and inflammation. Most pain should be gone by the following day but you should repeat the process again in a few days anyway to be sure that it’s done it’s job.
      Several people said that they boiled some Comfry tea and swished the tea around in their mouth for dental pain.

    • @CougarLyfe
      @CougarLyfe Před rokem +6

      Different people and sites have said they drink the tea in moderation as with anything.
