@@k90v85 hehe your right, theres always a spelling mistake somewhere in my vids 😂
@@Hero_of_Sinnoh dw, easy mistake
Why are you trying to combine CWMMP and TCW? You know damn well they can't coexist.
Imagine if Dice eventually reworked a new space battle game mode for us to enjoy in bf2. It's such a visually beautiful and fun aspect of the game that needed more love
Dice didn't do the space combat.
@@jasonnordine8839i know but just because Criterion took care of the space combat during development doesn't mean Dice cant do anything with it. They were the lead development team and definitely have the capacity to do so.
I want another Naboo Starfighter game. Heck, the fact that pre-Episode I material is left in the dark makes it more interesting to me.
Star Fighter assault is great, you’re just had at it
@@jimmygee3219 what? I never said it wasn't🤦 I'm talking about a new mode
If only we had all the colors for the Clone Commando, image all four players play those chads as a "Delta Squad"
The only problem with that is it probably would've ended up with multiple people looking Sev or Boss or something like that, which would've been really weird to see multiple of the same character together.
2:13 Bly's original design didn't become a generic clone commander. The red marked trooper is Commander Deviss. He just isn't named in the toy line for some reason.
The 41st wasn't even a Corps until TCW changed it for some reason. It was a Legion of the 9th Assault Corps.
The 212th Recon Division also makes no sense since 212th was a Battalion which is a way smaller unit than a Division.
To clear up some confusion. The 41st, since its creation back around Revenge of the Sith, has always been referred to as the 41st Elite Corps, even though it's a legion within the 9th Assault Corps. This also is true for the current canon, as the 41st Elite Corps (sometimes referred to as the 41st Elite Legion) is still canonically a part of the 9th Assault Corps, so TCW didn't change anything about that.
On the 212th Recon Divison not making sense, a division isn't a set unit type in the GAR. Unlike a battalion, which, in the GAR, officially consists of 661 clones of varying ranks, a division in the GAR is quite literally just a sub-unit that is separated from a larger unit and they vary in size heavily. The 332nd is a division that is somewhere around regiment size and includes the 332nd Company. The 212th Recon Divison, on the other hand, is a much smaller clone division, likely around company size. I specifically mention that division sizes differ drastically within the GAR, because unlike real world military divisions and other Star Wars faction divisions, clone divisions aren't a set unit type.
@@CloneCommanderCrater1102 Division and Corps are in the same tier.
@@CloneCommanderCrater1102 Squad, Platoon, Company, Battalion, Regiment, Legion/Brigade, Corps/Division...
@@MarsiB013 No, a division is not comparable to a corps in the GAR. A division in the GAR, as I stated previously, is officially a variable type of clone unit in both Legends AND Canon. Also, if a division was the size of a corps, it would make EVERY SINGLE known clone division impossible.
332nd Division? Can't be corps sized because it's built from part of a legion.
44th Special Operations Division? You don't make an entire corps built around special operations.
38th Armored Division and 181st Armor Division? Armor units in the GAR are never corps sized, ever.
224th "Mud Jumpers" Division? It's only comparable to a legion in size at best from what's been shown of it.
Literally the only known clone division that could even possibly be remotely corps sized is the 5th Fleet Security Division because it's fleet security, but even that's a stretch.
Every time a CLONE division (and I must specify "clone" division, because other Star Wars factions have different meaning for divisions) is mentioned it is shown to be a type of unit that isn't remotely corps sized and usually they are shown to be smaller unit sizes. So no, divisions are not corps sized and they are variable in size in the GAR.
@@CloneCommanderCrater1102 What I said is from Wookieepedia.
332nd doesn't count since it was made by TCW. Cpt Rex was promoted to Battalion Cmndr so his unit is a Battalion.
44th was also made by TCW and also doesn't make sense since its commanding officer was Major Ozzel. Majors commanded Battalions.
224th is a Division commanded by a General so it's right. Btw the Mud Jumpers were a sub unit.
The Armored Divisions also make sense idk what's the problem. The war machines require a lot of manpower to maintain and operate.
IMO it felt weird seeing ARCs without their Kamas (the half skirts). In Legends this was perhaps the most iconic piece of their armor that made them stand out from all other clones in the GAR.
Agreed. I think their Legends design is still the most iconic/best. Hasbro actually created it and it was sent to Genndy Tartakovsky and his team for the 2003 show, and used in the other media (such as the comics with Alpha-17) as well.
When did ARCs appear without Kamas? Every version of the ARC trooper, whether they be Alpha ARCs or Promoted ARCs, has had a kama. The only ARCs that don't always have a kama are the ARC Training Program graduates (commanders and other officers like Cody, Rex, Wolffe, Bly, gree, Neyo, Bacara, etc.) and that can be forgiven since they are still regular infantry officers and not full-fledged ARC troopers.
@@CloneCommanderCrater1102Huh... Rex,Wolffe,Bly and Bacara all have kamas.
@@russianinvader3207 I know, I was just using them as examples of the ARC Training Program graduates since they're all well known commanders, sorry if I didn'tmake that clear. A good number of the ARC Training Program graduates don't use kamas, such as Neyo, Gree, Oddball, Faie, etc.
For me the phase 1,5 ARCs from TCW look weird. Why are they ignoring the established Phase 2 ARC Armor from Episode 3? 2:13
It looks functional and classy. Meanwhile bro is painted like a budget gaming mouse 7:01
I always wished you could play as a standard B1 instead of having to play as a B2 super.
You and me both brother
The 41st Ranger Platoon were first seen in Lego form back in 2014 when they were in the Kashyyyk Trooper Battle Pack
That design actually dates back to a Hasbro one trooper action figure from 2007. The figure appeared in an Order 66 2-pack that came with the trooper and Yoda. Lego, as you said, eventually made a minifigure of that design in the 2014 Kashyyyk troopers battle pack, but that specific clone design wasn't officially named until EA's Battlefront 2 called them the 41st Ranger Platoon, before that they were just a random type of 41st trooper.
Edit: spelling
@@CloneCommanderCrater1102Yep.
ARC troopers in the original games were more based on the comics that ARCs came from rather than the animated show
Those Alpha Class ARC Troopers were such a great design. Hasbro's design team made them, and the designs were sent to Genndy Tartakovsky for the 2003 show. In the Republic Comics, the design was reiterated through Alpha-17. It's too bad the newer games didn't make these alternate skins or a different class altogether, given their genetic superiority and training by Jango Fett. How cool would it be to play as Captain Fordo or Alpha-17?
I would've loved that, especially since it would have properly brought the Alpha ARCs back into canon.
The red colored clone that became the design for Bly and the 327th was in the Episode III vsiual dictionary labled as an ARC trooper. And later given a name in the Guide to the Grand Army of the Republic, as Commander Deviss.
Love the longer videos
And you have a good voice
Most people who make these kinds of videos sound annoying
Appreciate it!
You can sorta see the Clone pilots in reboot BF2 in the LAAT too in supremacy
Star Fighter assault is underrated
It’s weird how small the DC-17 blaster is almost like the E-11 in Battlefront 2 2017
That is one sus pfp
Do you mean the size of the DC-17m used by the clone commandos? Because the DC-17m has always been on the smaller side, all the way since it's introduction in Republic Commando. The DC-17m has always only been a bit larger than a commandos forearm, so I'd say Battlefront 2 got the size pretty correct.
@@CloneCommanderCrater1102 Ment DC-15A, couldn’t see what I was writing cuz CZcams is so broken words gets glew together like now I had to write this somewhere else and copy paste it

Would love to see you cover the Sequels and their fun facts in Battlefront! Keep up the awesome content! 🎉
The Rebel pilot was actually in the BF2 reboot, and was almost a reinforcement that could be played as, but now is only an NPC that can be seen in some missions in the campaign.
Corps is pronounced core.
7:56 reminds me of the "Gun Kata" from Equilibrium
Corps is pronounced as "core" not "corpse".
When I was a kid, I always said to myself "man the Republic and imperial Sniper Rifles look like those German machineguns" only to see in the reboots that they were literally based on the FG42, MG42 and the MG34 lol
In the 70's they just put scopes on mg34s and 42s
Clone Trooper legion colors just make me so happy.
We have modern variants of TIE pilots from SW Squadrons.
Wait, so that's why Kashyyyk Troopers were blue in lego star wars the video game.
Mind blowing
"In future Battlefronts" We can only hope...
Exactly what I was thinking
it sucks playing against so many people who’ve now maxed out every ship and I am level 10 on the main fighters and fights take forever to find, but goddamn are they worth it because of the views from defending frigates running past blockades to asteroid fields assault to dogfights in junk fields
I only wish we had the trench run from BF 1
I see the Vietnam inspiration in that camouflage
It would have been nice if we got pilot skins for BF2(2017) considering how cool and unique they look. We got the Droid Pilot, all we needed was the Clone, Rebel, and Tie Pilots. Would have been extra fitting fir Supremacy when defending your ship as even the pilots would join in the defense of the ship. We got the Clone Naval Officer, so why not the Clone Pilot as well along with the Rebel and Tie Pilots to go along with the Droid Pilots?
100% would have been awesome
One of the snipers is from the movies as the weapon in the OT are made with real firearms. You can see an MG-42 for the sniper.
00:02 finally, addidas clone trooper.
That's hilarious never thought of it like that XD
Chad legends Arc trooper > Cannon Arc Troopers
Small tip, Corps is pronounced Core
Nothing becomes canon through merch wth x)
The Phase I V-Wing helmet comes from the Lego set.
The graphics are pretty good.
plx launcher as far as i know was used frist because of the fact it could fit the rocket launching gimick
What's funny is he mentioned a future battlefront game. That won't be happening
Nobody’s talking about how Half of the rifles are literally MG-42s??
Now I feel weird for having a phase one clone helmet on an arc trooper now I’m trying to get enough credits to get a phase two instead lol😅
CAMO on clones will ALWAYS be cool.
3:51 that’s actually not true, they were shown off in various Lego products, being the only clone pilots in Lego Stars: The Video Game and Complete Saga, unless that’s some other variant I missed. Weren’t there also similar skins in Dice’s Battlefront II?
Edit: forgot there’s also the snout variant throughout the Clone Wars show.
Yep thats right, I will cover that later on when I do a lego video, I should have clarified that it was not only seen in the micro series.
My B2 super battle droid action figure from 2002 actually has the heavy blaster cannon arm that (afaik) only first appeared on screen much later in TCW cartoon. Always thought that consistency was so cool. It is surprising that they would remember a detail from an old action figure when they forgot about the PLX-1.
EDIT: I found it on the website Rebel Scum! But I can't post the link because it keeps automatically taking down my comment when I do so lol. It also featured again in the ROTS line of action figures. I wonder if some other video game did depict super battle droids with this before TCW?
Thats so cool! whats the toy name, would love to search it up myself.
@@Hero_of_Sinnoh The super battle droid arm cannon first appeared on the Super Battle Droid With Exploding Body Damage action figure in Hasbro's Star Wars Saga Series line in 2002. The SBD arm cannon would later appear as an interchangeable feature on a couple other SBD figures in subsequent years and most prominently appear on the super battle droids in the Republic Commando game from 2004, before first appearing on screen in the 2008 Clone Wars series.
2:14 his name is deviss dude
I know it's maybe a goofy question but how did u get the clone trooper phase 1 default
Its only on some maps like Geonosis sadly
Just because they were unused, doesn’t mean it was the correct one.
The P is silent in Corps. Like the US Marine Corps. Otherwise you're just calling them dead bodies.
On pc the space battles in ea bf2 are terrible tho..
They look great but it takes almost an hour to find a match and even than it's gonna be unfair to new players bcuz they will pretty much have to play against max levels and cheaters every single time.
And if you focus on destroying turrets and such to farm xp people will become so toxic
Oh and the permanent spawn killing ofcourse...
Funny enough people who do that will ask in-game why people are leaving
Ah your right, I didn't think of that
Red clone commander is commander devis
The ARC Trooper's gear is inaccurate in BF2EA. They have TCW pauldrons, kama and backpack instead of live action. So they were wasting time and resources making them lol.
Yeah, I've always wondered if the ARC designs in TCW would be treated literally or just a part of the style of the show.
@@lukerope1906 Not to mention that the Phase I variant worse. Just a helmet change.
@@MarsiB013the movie version of the shoulder pauldrons look like steaming dogshit so nah, improvement
@@Krosstic Bullshit lol. Animated models don't belong in live action. Movie counterparts look far better anyway. TCW's kama and pauldrons look so cheap and crappy. So lame.

Nice informative vid, but the amount of incorrect unit echelon terms made me die a little inside.
The 41st Elite Corps is a corps, not a battalion. The Scout Battalion is a battalion, not a division, etc.
Right my bad, I just used their names in Battlefront 2 which also is kind of not accurate as well but either way ill keep an eye out for next time.
Hero of sinnoh, please install battlefront 2 (2005) remastered it is goated
I have it on another computer, it is much better ver but I generally like to use the original version of the game when taking about specific facts. But may make some mod videos soon
It's commander Neyo, not Neo
There really stilted “because…” “and…” you’ve added on between the entries reeks of CZcams shorts and I really really think you should drop that ☠️
Neyo* not Neo.
Thats commander deviss not bly
