Amazing videos & god sounds, why you chose Headrush? im in confuse after your videos, what to buy, HX Stomp (small Helix) it have way more and very good effects, or try Headrush maybe gigboard....
The MX5 has a MUCH more powerful processor than HX Stomp (actually MX5 processor is similar in power to the Quad Cortex). The stomp is fine if you just need it to do a few things and you have lots of other pedals. It is also very compact so it doesn't take much space on your pedalboard. But if you want one pedal to do processor intensive things like run multiple reverbs at the same time, two amps at the same time, 14 blocks at once etc, then MX5 can do that.
Could you please make a video walking us through your global settings? My tele seems to be hitting these rigs super hard. Even "clean" is pretty broken up. Any advice would be great! Thanks!
My Global Settings are factory standard: Global EQ disabled. My input block has input level set to zero (factory standard). Output block is different for every rig, but always set such that the output meters should never hit red. This surprises a lot of people, but my standard clean tone is quite dirty. (Apparently I am not unique in this, I found that Tim Pierce has the same approach). In all of my CZcams videos, the only one that is truly clean with no dirt, is the "Fender Clean" rig. Download those if you want true clean.
I don’t have that issue. The solution is to use a delay that allows you to reduce the amount of high frequencies on the delayed signal. Once you make the delay repeats sound “dull” they won’t bother you. This is why a lot of people use tape echo style delays instead of the more clinical sounding digital delay. Check out my UNRIVALED video for an example of a delay that’s really loud, but has the high frequencies reduced so they don’t interfere
If you would have just looked for a second you would have seen it instead of just barking orders demanding to know where it is. This fine man is generously giving away his incredible rigs so that others can use them to enhance their worship and glorify God. Be grateful and less demanding.
