Somebody should remember to thank them for all the good, efficient infrastructure they have provided, from buildings and architecture, railways, navy, industry, engineering, etc. right down to education, morals and manners. We wouldn't have our solid steel trains and tracks without British efficiency, intelligence and pride of work.

Actually from July 19th 2018 this train runs with end to end diesel traction. That's bcoz erode had to give off the electric link between erode trichy line so hence a swap happend. And now erode halt will be 5m
Yes, I agree with you. many times I also wonder. I think the PRide to keep things Clean & bright is NOT in our culture!. Any where else in the world the first thing to be cleaned is the outside of Engines & Coaches. Look at Japan's trains, Sparkling clean!!.

Here in UK there were 12 in 2015, one of them was my ex-girlfriend (thats a whole crazy story!), so i am trying to find out just how rare a job it is across this planet for ladies. She was the only female driver in London and an area covering 20 million people. I was (according to her) an upmost hardcore spotter back in the days of British Rail. Quite a unique occurance for us to meet, both into same music (i dj/produce on radio etc). So after a bit of research, it appears i have the dubious honour of being the only trainspotter with a loco driver as an ex girlfriend ooof uh!! Or am i? I have to find out eh!! . . Anyway, nice memories of her vids to me there with that sound of the 2-stroke EMD engine ticking over. Great stuff Ram, salute. . . Ooooh its dark here!

Sir I have seen one lady (unmarried girl) loco pilot in mayavaram/mayiladuturai junction ten years ago. She driven mayiladuturai jn -Thiruvarur passenger train. She came down and removed the chok herself. I wondered .....and asked her....are you choosen from RRB ? She nodded her head and replied me 'yes'. This practical story was occurred 10 years back. So our mayiladuturai (delta area) stands ahead of all.
Should appreciate girls to be loco pilot, why only boys? They even drive metro trains, then why not Indian railway. Competent ladies must be selected for this job like in other countries, so that new job aspects be opened for them. Nice capture.
Metro trains they r not driving all fixed with sensors they r not even control just for emergency purpose only they were in loco but in here in Indian railways only with the pilot hands can move the loco
