thanks a lot Justin!
I wish you had of tested it after 24 hours to see the full bond strength
Good video just bought some of this stuff
Excellent and very helpful video. I have just tried it on a loose coping stone and I can’t shift it.😊
Would give me a suggestion of MS polymer, silicone or adhesive that best suit long term water submersion like a rectangular fish aquarium ?
Used it a couple of years ago to mount wooden shelf brackets to a painted wood surface... worked great, but want to take it down and put up different shelves. Is there a solvent which will loosen it up?
I was just thinking why would a youngster be watching an adhesive video and then remembered im 14
😂😂😂😂
🤣🤣
This vs the turbo version to stick down sleepers to wooden floor boards? Which one would be more attack proof?
Will this work on a car spoiler
Can u see if will stick UPVC onto bare brick wall
When gluing wood outside it comes off after a while. The glue to wood bond is still perfect but about a 0.5mm of wood comes off the wood.
How about testing it with rubber?
Will try it to stick pvc to wood for bow making..
I subscribed cause I love your videos bro
Thanks man 👍
@@JBTV No problem,👌😉 keep doing the good stuf
Was hoping for a test on wooden curtain batten for hanging a curtain rail and curtains on.
I just used this for the 1st time . re hanging a basin on the wall in a public place where it was getting lots of weight with people leaning on it . I cant wait to see if it holds up . Great vid
How did it hold up?
@@ToniRoxii fell off in a day
Good video mate👍 CZcams is a world of information always great full for this kinda content I’m a tradesman, Why do people put thumbs down for a bit of glue don’t get them🤔
Nooice!
I want to stick my eufy video doorbell to my UPVC front door. What’s the best stuff to use? Thanks
2 part epoxy would be my choice personally, just make sure you prep it well.
@@monty3524368 thanks. I drilled the wall next to the door in the end.
Will be sound 4 rocking slabs
Going to use this to build a shoe rack/shelf fingers crossed 🤞 tfs
Good luck, keep me posted
Nearly a year later, how did it hold up?
@@ToniRoxii he still stuck himself to the wall ha ha
I used this 3 hours ago to glue down a water proof strip surround my shower tray. All dry, dust free yet its not bonded at all. I've use their stuff loads but I've found a massive fail here. Old skool instant grab will be oiked out of the shed in the morning and I'm sure will get the job done.
I don’t believe that. Ive done lots of jobs on bathroom fittings and they’re still rock solid eight years later.
QUESTION: If you want to remove it from the wall, how do you do so ????
With a large hammer.
I bought some and it does not do what it says... It could not hold 30 grams of plastic on a 7sq cm contact area to brick after 15 minutes. I don't know if I have a bad batch or what is going on but the evostick "sticks like sh*t" that I bought certainly does not dry after 15 minutes and cannot hold weight either instantly (as they claim) or after the 15 minute dry time. It still functions as an adhesive but not a grab adhesive and certainly not a fast drying one. I used some on brick to brick yesterday and it has not dried but that was overnight.
typo, it has dried overnight
Don’t know what you’re reading but on my tube it clearly states that maximum hold is achieved after 24 hours, so if the two surfaces to stick are not held in place for 24hours, it’s not fair to say it didn’t hold/work
I have the "Strong Stuff" super adhesive and it dries into a rubber, sure it sticks relatively well and I found good uses for it, but it's a total joke compared to what the back of it says, "virtually unbreakable bond", surprised they haven't been sued for false advertising, ridiculous claim, and they claim this unbreakable bond is on anything from metal to "mirrors" (basically said glass twice in the list, as both glass and mirrors were stated).
It seems to stick all of the obvious materials, but will it stick plastics? Perspex/acrylic is one of the most difficult to get adhesion too, how does it fair with this?
CT-1 doesn't do well in high heat environments. Ends up going tacky and soft...
Sticks like grease when using it on perspex and plastic shower sheets!
will this stick my spoiler on to my car ?
Does it work like fix- a- floor? I have a loose floor tile.
Use pva instead of fix a floor... this will be too thick. Depending on the size of the needle you are using you may even need to mix 5% water into the PVA (for like 12 or 14 gauge needles where the tiles are set super close). Always weigh the tiles down when it's setting to make sure you haven't pushed the tiles up at all when injecting the adhesive.
It does work under water
Would this be suitable for installing a roller blind onto porcelain bathroom tile?
It might work, but wouldn't want to recommend it
@@JBTV I tried it. Seems to work well!
Can I use it to Mount tiles on the wall/floor
I would if a tile has come loose or come away, but not to tile an area
It also doesn't appear to ever dry
Its base is a modified Silane (MS) polymer
Wood on wood= good! Plastic on plaserboard, works like grease
The clear stuff doesn't set as firm as the white - in fact i reckon it's no different than clear silicone. I'll never use the clear again on my joinery work.
What about using this for plastic to plastic ?
Definitely 👌
Did the screw on cap prevent the glue from drying out?
Yes, it's lasts ages with the screw cap
I don’t know why more of these tubes don’t come with screw caps, it’s like they want you to only use a tiny amount of product, and then the rest goes dry 😂😂😂
@@jonnygti Yep, exactly right.
@@jonnygti i always left a little bit out of the cap to dry, and just pull it out when using it again. Ones exposed to dry air its over , like silicon.
Why don’t you keep the 10KG weight stored on the shelf?
will definitely takes the paint off.
What's it made of
No idea - but it is solvent based
@@JBTV trying to find out and its impossible
Absolutely Shit
Any good for sticking a curtain pole up on the wall plasterboard
Ive heard the clear version is rubbish, any thoughts on this? Sometimes clear is better for the job.
Great vid - I thinking of using glue to mount a TV - so especially usefult that you measured with 10 Kilos
How did your tv hold up?
Bond to plastic?
I'd scuff it, if you try it
Does it provide a water proof seal like silicone does? Many thanks
Yes it does, but not flexible like silicone
@@JBTV Thanks for your reply. I've just glued two splits in my cold water tank around the output connection in the loft as a temporary repair and so far it's holding great 😊
Mate. Try doing a proper test to show the strength properties. Super glue could have what you’ve
shown 😂
A one product test isn't a test, it's an advertisement.
What? it was a test to see how strong the adhesive is.. how was this not a test? He never said it was a comparison.
£7! instant nails £1.20.
Instant nails is £1.20 for a reason. Its rubbish
It says it does metal. It most certainly does not.
Does this do plastics?
I think it'll stick almost anything!
@@JBTV thanks looking for a 3D print I have a sword need to stick it good lol
Someone told me this stuff sticks like shit!
But will it glue my Wife's mouth shut ?
My x wife used it on her legs though
@@johnhill1421 ex wife? Presumably the glue didn’t keep her legs together?😂
you want a can of methylated spirts on ya when using adhesives
Shit is not sticky as glue. Shit washes off with water no matter how dry it is. So it's a shitty glue lol
