Got my first Gretsch last Christmas, got my second Gretsch a month ago.
Chased PRSs and Gibsons for years not finding they lived up to their reputation with me.
But my Gretsch guitars have become favourites in no time.

These are like works of art. Just amazing guitars and I like the guy's genuine enthusiasm! My favorite wasn't in here, but all of them are stunning. I like the Brian Setzer Hot Rod in Coolant Green sparkle.

The most mysterious brand of guitar to me.... I kinda want one. Although I certainly don't NEED it...

Really enjoyed that, i've just traded my entire guitar collection for a White Falcon, the 59 and it's the greatest guitar you could play.

All right, hand over all the new Gretsch guitars and nobody gets hurt. I'm drooling like a fool here.

Sitting here on a Saturday night eating a pint of ice cream watching someone halfway across the world unbox guitars. Probably says more about me than I'd like to have known lol.

I have had several in the last few years. The best is undoubtedly the Steve Wariner Signature model. They are not easy guitars but they are very well built and its sound is sublime

I bought my son an Italia Torino which I think sounds as good as any Gretsch, they don’t make them anymore sadly! These G,s are lovely guitars and the Falcon is stunning. Cheers.

I’ve never tried a vintage select Gretsch, but I’d like to. I have 2 players edition jets. A G6128T and a G6228BT that I bought from Peach Guitars recently. They are incredible to play. So I imagine the vintage selection are also incredible.
That white Penguin was awesome also.

I got my brother an orange stain 5420T with the FT5E filtertrons. Best bang for your buck out there. I am thirsting for a players editions black duo jet with the mahogany back. It’s an iconic, high contrast guitar with a warm woody back. I’d probably get it with the dynasonics since I have tried the filtertrons, as the dynasonics have a scooped P90esque sound. Basically the Harrison jet but with the wood back.

    Filter-tron pick ups.
Also synchro-sonic is also a Space Control bridge. And some of those you showed have Melita bridges.
I'm not trying to be that guy! But... Google.

      Hey Craig,
Thanks for your comment. While Sam does mention some of the bridges in the video, he doesn't cover every single one. Our goal with these unboxing videos is to share our initial impressions of new guitars, so we might not have all the specs immediately available. However, you can find all the detailed information on our website under each guitar's listing. I hope you enjoyed the video regardless!

Gotoh makes better tuning machines than Grover and Kluson, however Schaller makes great tuners, but nothing I like.
I’m a giant fan of Gotoh quality wise, the best around.
They should reissue a correct version of the Grover Imperial, since Grover refuses to make it correctly.
Gotoh Imperial perfect for a country that’s actually had an imperial leader lol..

Not sure I would open with a Hillsong Cult guitarist.

Unboxings are done at random, that's what we like about them. We think it's a wonderfully spec'd White Falcon!

1990’s Fender Japan made better Strats,Tele’s, Mustangs and Jazzmasters than USA Fender.
No reason they can’t make better guitars for Gretsch than USA overpriced poor quality control guitars.
Gibson USA is getting killed recently for selling high priced junk.
I just favor what Japan is tasked to make quality wise.
They take more pride in their jobs than we do here.
