From an outside (non-fantasy player/fan) perspective, this feels most like what a long-surviving human faction like the Empire would be. Let the Bretonnians keep their grail knights and the Cathayans with their mixed-unit tactics. The number-one way to balance the playing field between fragile, easily frightened humans and regenerating disease daemons and hordes of unending undead and mushroom-men is a hardened steel front line and a rolling barrage from far across the field.
I like to think this mod is basically the Game Empire rediscovering the technology of steam, and from that mass production. The end times are halted firsts by lines of rifles and early breach loading artillery, they are then driven back by the arrival of heavier guns and then when the greater deamons appear they find their way blocked by the new petrol driven tanks of the imperial armoured corp.
Nah. It's entirely unrealistic. Tanks were super hard to produce in WW1, the Great War. Nations, despite their sizes and resources, barely had any. They used already existing commercial engines too, from tractors and commercial vehicles. Despite that, those tanks are not super well armored. It protects against muskets and WW1 era rifles, but not much else. An Ogre.. not so much. In the fantasy settings, how would those people have steamworks like that? Or population, the resources? A tank doesn't seem as so much iron, but that steel is refined and rolled, than bolted together. Auguring the barrels. The hardened cogwheels. Milling. Cranes to move it, the factory itself. It's a lot. Those people are kind of medieval. If somehow they do solve it, I just hope it won't be with magic, as it is cheating. They already reached the gunpowder age, so it should be possible. I just hope their tanks won't be wobbly and 'funny' like World of Warcrafts tanks and engines.

Steel plate, perhaps an un-powered turret, machine guns and small cannon, and the petrol engine. All things that 1910's era society knew about and thought of as mature technology, it's the reason why once the entente figures out "Ah yes tank is a good idea' their numbers increase in an almost exponential fashion. Who knows, maybe even show the dwarves how to build proper airships and put their ironclads to shame with proper pre-dreadnought battleships.
After reading how the Ogre's conquered the mightiest living beings on the planet. I would have to say they are the strongest faction in the entire game. It was an awesome story how they scaled the highest peaks and fought with the Great Mountain Giants.

I want to see Technomagic lizardmen. I read a quest where they were in 40k but are currently isolated. And me and others discussed the possibilities of the lizardmen. And oh… oh my god

Well not really. We knew exactly about the differences, but decided not to care about the fantasy lore and made our own content. There are enough "lore-friendly" mods in the workshop for all eternity, so we thought it's time for something new.
sooo those rocket launchers (The Nebelwerfer) weren't invented until 1942 and we're used by the Wermacht, not the Imperial german army. STill despite that little nitpick, this is truely an epic scene to watch.
Yes the Nebelwerfer, as well as the Pak 40 are technically from WW2, but we decided to use them as a design reference, since there was nothing really comparable in WW1. In future updates this might happen again, but we will mostly try to stay with the earlier designs. For example if we want to create new aerial units we have to find alternatives to planes since they will probably not work in in the game.

@@ratbastard1711 the tracks are not moving, because we don't know how to create new animations for them. We can use everything that's already in the game, but nothing else. If someone would create new animations for the different tracks we can include them, but until that is the case they will sadly not move.

Both prussia and the 3rd reich had very strict rules of how tall their main line soldiers had to be, (at least 1.85meters by 1935 if l remember correctly) it was part of their ancestral honour to only have the most fit and able men resemble the perfect teutonic warrior race.
The irony of this mod is that it better demonstrates over the absurdity of Warhammer 40,000 thinking that a chainsword or any melee weapon means jack shit compared to firearms, mobile armor, or artillery, let alone air and orbital power.

The Germans suffered little to no casualties due to the tactical terrain and them keeping the ogres from getting past the valley.
