What I like about M4 clones is that depending on part choice they can be very affordable and will service just about anyone if you're in a situation where everyone in the home needs to be handed a rifle
Personally I always liked the look of the block 1s. I also feel it's a cross between old ways and new ways. You can still put a bayonet on it if needed but you can set it up with modern accessories and gear.
you had me until you traded in an m951 surefire. Not sure if you meant condition or not. They are great when upgraded to led. What turns off most people though is the bulkiness of it. I personally love the looks, same with the m952 and m952v. Yes plenty of great light options out there. Besides surefire i really like its competitor streamlight. Great bang for your buck with that company. I cant get over Gwot era m4/m4a1 block 1s and 1.5s. Its got a solid place in my heart. Marine veteran 0311 here. Great build, i especially like how your still utilizing a fixed rear iron. Im a co-witiness fan though.
since u like the a2 grips, and i do too, check out buying a grip plug that just plugs into that hollow spot the bottom! they're like 8 bucks and its one more spot u can make waterproof and store extra batteries or tools!
The OWL is ugly but seems like a good functional light. IIRC, the owl pressure pad is integral to the light which I didn’t like. Don’t they cost as much as Surefires? Your Block 1 homage is sweet
Thanks, it is big and heavy but really bright. Sort of cost as much as a surefire but the rein as well come with the pressure pad. Also cloud will take any weapon light working or not of yours and give you a $100 coupon.
Correct. I'm no eotech expert but I believe one way to tell is some or maybe all lower 1/3 eotechs have a quck detach lever. The absolute Co witness ones are not quick detach
@@charlesaferg yea I ran into a few problems with a magnifier, mostly the lense getting wet from snow hitting it then the moisture collecting carbon while shooting suppressed. I think magnifiers are best left off the rifle and only use them when the range is going to be further out
Yeah def dont trade in an "old shitty surefire m951 light" they are worth between 200-350 on the market. Dont trade them in to Cloud for 100 credit thats big dumb

I have two of those BCM SOCOM uppers. Free floated one of them with BCM KMR 10 inch rail. Afterall, I need to be able to tell the twins apart.
Beautiful looking gun! Imma upgrade mine the same way

Best ar15 variant.
You can run your magnifier and eotech if you swap out that rear sight for a magpul one
Looks nice, just get a rail cover for the bottom .

I was curious if they were any good. I'll try them
Where do you find the grip plug?? Brand?
Junk for dupes
Awesome 👏 your back!!!
Thanks! I gotta be in the mood to make a video so I'll always be here but uploads are random.
Just needs a PEQ baller set up
Oh I know. I've considered it but unfortunately where I live I would never be able to use it much less even zero it. Shame.
@@jrengo87 alternative you could get a visible laser unit and put it in an airsoft PEQ

Surefire is overpriced, Cloud Defensive snd Modlite have better products being the difference, you’re actually paying what it’s worth
why put adhesive tape on your eotech?
thank you in advance
To cover up the white eotech logo and because it looks cool
I thought the XPS model (what you have) has absolute cowitness but the EXPS is lower 1/3rd because of their QD mount?

@@jrengo87 it's also probably better that you don't have a magnifier on this because it blocks the controls but not the side-controls of the exps.

What brake did you use ?
It's a bcm extended muzzle device. Just a standard one that's extended to make the barrel length 16 inches. Came pined on the barrel by bcm.
+1 on A2 being the best grip ever!
Agreed
Is it wrong if I call it a classic?
It is now and that's the scary thing. Shows you how fast time goes.

It's worth it if you would rather have a modern light that's brighter and a smaller package.
what length is the rail?
Standard carbine length. Snaps in the Same as the plastic handguards. KAC m4 ras rail
Will that KAC rail fit on a 16in barrel?
@@ruthlessmofodoes it have a carbine length gas system with the fixed front sight?
