In this video we cover everything you need to go from a fresh Assetto Corsa install, to driving on a modded map with modded cars, lighting and weather. This guide focuses on the Shutoko Revival Project - a mod "collection" that contains both cars and a track, and requires (like many mods) - CM/CSP/Sol.

1.⚠️*RACEDEPARTMENT ACCOUNTS ARE FREE*⚠️ *You don't need to pay ANYTHING for anything in this video besides the game itself!* - just scroll down and make a free account by clicking "here"
2. If you aren't seeing the install for CSP in content manager, (no page selected) it's likely **you need to update Content Manager** - you can do this at the top right menu in CM.
3. Update your CSP if you're getting black/red/whatever skies.
4. You can use "7zip" or "winrar" programs (both free) to open .zip/.7z files
5. If you get errors with modded maps not working, run them in "practice" mode.

Very well explained, particularly the folder hierarchy. Hopefully this will have some impact on the amount of lazy people that just drag and drop then complain that they end up with problems. If anyone cannot find the custom shaders pack which is shown at 2:15 Just make sure you're running the right installation of the content manager! It took me 10 seconds to find but I think it'll help some of you a lot!
I thought I had the newest version of this but the install shaders button isn’t there, how do I know if I have the right installation?
@@jacksonwhitley7293 When you're in the content manager there should be an update button somewhere, then you will see the shaders button once it has downloaded! If this doesn't work see if you can download the most recent version on the web.

i did the check for updates then at the top right there was a read notification saying update to newest version. then the application should restart and i checked if the shaders were there. I was ready to install. : )

If you have some kind of missing "lua" file error or cars merging together in the sky at the start of a session, downgrade the custom shaders patch to 0.1.73.

Finished all of the tutorial loaded CM up it said "circuit" on go loaded up and I was just spinning in the air not sure what the issue is with the track or car steering wheel was extremely stiff aswell

Question: I got to the part that says "Custom Shaders Patch" but when I select the page in content manager it says "no page selected". What do I do?
Go to settings, content manager and check for updates, i got the same problem but doing that fixed it

Guys if the content manager doesn't install the custom shaders patch for you then click on the button on the right side of the install button it will take you over to their site. Download the stable version. Then drag and drop it into the assetto corsa files like he did with the sol mod
