I feel so bad for the green spirit why isn't there an option to give him a hug and help him rebuild his totem

@The One And Only Stéphanie Actually, the main universe is a timeloop, so the emerald spirit will always go through the same experience anew with the new messenger (unless the loop is canonically perpetual)
@@randomsandwichianno the loop was broken at the end of the game, since the demon king and his army were vanquished and the curse was lifted
Such variety for a free DLC. This truly is content I’ve never seen before except in Hollow Knight.

@@cyrusvail A prequel is being made called Sea of Stars or something like that, which follows the story of the Sun and Moon god from the sunken temple area, which probably implies that the dev team are going to expand on the franchise. Besides, the ending of this DLC does imply a continuation.
The dark messenger demon boss fight reminds me of both punch out and teleroboxer.

Does it seem like the bosses have too much HP here? Especially Voodoo Totem, that took way longer than I expected,
IIRC he wasn't using the possible abilities in that fight. It'd have likely gone faster if he did.
The Bosses HP were increased because of the hook attack combo
the voodoo totem fight seemed fine to me, prob because im used to bosses with that much hp
@Dominotik Ivan Tulovskiy So what? It was a free DLC, so nobody could possibly mad about having only 3 additional Bosses - that's plenty. Therefore however is also no need into make them bigger, then they needed to be.

It was so cool to see a homage to Punch Out as the final boss and honestly would love to see a DLC with fights exclusively like that one.
A game's upload/stream embargo could have just been lifted and Gellot will have the no damage video ready to go and uploaded in an hour

Unfortunately there wasn't and I don't really think, there will be new DLCs comming. Currently they are working on a RPG that looks sick, they'll release it 2022.
I hope they are gonna do some more Plattformers in the Future, the Messenger was fantastic. The DLC is as well - and it was free, despite the fact that it would have been complete justified to pay for it.
the developers sure were inspired by the NES, Sega Genesys, Punch-Out and a few other things.

I got this game for 2 reasons.
1. I need whatever I can get to hold me over until July 29, when Xenoblade 3 releases.
2. I plan to play the prequel game Sea of Stars when it comes out.
This game definitely has a lot to offer for one of its kind. I had predominantly been anticipating a standard A to B platformer, but nope, it gives you more.
