FOOTBALL SHIRT / SOCCER JERSEY REVIEW
ARGENTINA 2024 MESSI 10 HOME KIT
#footballshirt #soccerjersey #futbol - Sport
Crackin video as always mate! I am not a huge fan of how they have taken a step back in the heat press badges myself!
Thank you!! Yeah it’s no bueno!! Hopefully they correct that with the WC 26 kit!
When I got my jersey I legit thought they sent me a replica by mistake bc of the patches😂
🤣🤣🤣 I bet a lot of people are going to have that same first thought!
My father just got back from arg and brought back an official replica from the adidas store. Everything is stitched on. Beauty.
Legit when I got mine i was like" did they send me the wrong one?" Tbh really bummed out about it but it is what it is.
VAMOS ARGENTINA CARAJOOO
Great review! Thank you! 🙋🏻♂️ from 🇦🇷
I'm from Argentina and yeah, I'm not very happy with this kit and the away kit
Argentinian here, we are mad af about the badges too lmao, we don't get anything different here atm. I really hope they change that when copa America comes around
Good vid man
that won't happen cos player version jerseys come with the sticker-badges due to heat and weight.
Yeahhh I think even the players themselves have the same issue with their shirt unfortunately but it’s nice to know we all get the same thing 😂 hopefully the copa America patches help elevate the shirt!
bro honestly, your the best football kit reviewer.
Why thank you!! I try my best!! 🤓
Coolest colours!
The strips on the back of the neck part are supposed to create more "Air Flow" between your body and the jersey. Hopefully a better cooling down.
I think it will look great once you add the Copa America patches
You’re not wrong I didn’t even think of that!!
nice video dude! i rly like ur reviews! Im from Argentina and as u know we got the same low quality badges and logo for this shirt. Another thing to check is that the european national adidas kits got a pattern knit on the fabric but Argentina one only have it at the sides. Im rly dissapointed on adidas new jerseys qualities… the 2022-2023 kits are the top quality jerseys ive ever seen made from adidas, logo, shoulder stripes, fabric. Hope this info is usefull for ur reviews~ btw the logos should be TPU like the adidas badge at the bottom and old kits.
The glossy stripes should have been in gold😢
Agree
yeah
Oh wow yeah they should’ve!!
Exactly. But I think they will leave it for 2026 WC🎉
I really wish it was! More touches of gold would've been beautiful.
World cup champions badge on the replica version looks like a sticker. Previous replica versions had real embroidered badges.
EXACTLY!!
1:18: I can only come up with one reason this could exist.
It would likely be to protect a player's neck from getting hit or perhaps a hard collision from the back where your spine is most vulnerable, the little pad thing there absorbing part of the force. Knowing how common injuries are in this sport, that kind of small addition to the design could go some ways in helping the players stay that little bit more safe.
I'd say buy the fan version, then buy the og world cup winner's badge and that's the best version of this jersey you can get
Yeah. Those vynil patches ruined the jersey. I bought the replica for 2022 (both 2 and 3 stars) and I wanted to finally buy a player version but this patches detail is kinda disappointing. But ngl, the golden design is also kinda intriguing.
Great great review man. Thxs for the review. Its crazy too, cause everyone was waiting for that kit ... Even the French 😂
Thanks!! Even the French 🤣🤣🤣
Just bought it, it’s amazing but I have the same bad stuff on it but it doesn’t bother me that much, 8/10
Im in Canada and my home and away replica jerseys came with the crest and Adidas logo stitched on. The material used for the jerseys does feel very cheap though
Esta hermosa la camiseta!!!
Great review, hard to find reviews with such detail, keep it up, though you never mentioned what size you have here?
Thank you!!! I mentioned it at the very end when I tried it on it’s a size medium and it fits like a medium!
Would love to see if the rest of the Adidas teams have the same “cheap” details on the authentic jerseys. Love my “gold” stitched AFA logo on my 2002 home jersey. Would always go for replica because of that…
I’ll wait for the 26 wc kit
Smart!!
im definitely getiing replica on this
💯
So you will rock the replica publicly? Like for hanging out casually?
@@kalam_29why would that even matter lmao
@@timmytorres20nah I’m just asking if we can rock a replica fake jersey
@@kalam_29Replica doesnt mean Fake. There are three types authentic with better quality, fabric and cut. Replica is a Fan Version with a more Casual cut you can get both from Adidas mostly authentic is 150€ and Replica 100. The Last ones are Fakes or counterfeits which arent Made from Adidas but If you get them from some Sites they Look also good sometimes especially If you dont have much Money.
I agree with U buddy...😅
Grande!!!!
I feel like the player version will get the better quality patch
Love the wall of all the WC winners!!! 🙏🏼🏆🇦🇷
Thank you!!! It was quite the mission to complete that set!
I went to my local adidas shop here in ATL saw the patches you mentioned.. very cheaply made for sure¡!! the replica also comes with the winners patch is the same way ,the AFA logo is stiched very nice to tell you the truth ..gonna wait in see the roster for the copa america and buy it with a nameset very undecided if replica or player version.. the replica seems more durable than the player version..do
I got the replica away kit (review coming soon) and I do feel like the authentic is a bit more comfortable but the replica is still very comfortable and love it! Agree with you with the patches tho! Replica all the way!!
The logos and batch are printed because it's supposed to feel lighter and better for the player on the field, but I wonder why they don't just print it on the replica too - isn't that cheaper?
I admire your collection bro
Thank you!!!!
Agree and that’s why I got the replica and the away jersey is looks pretty average.
Es hermosa ❤ 🇦🇷
I like this kit
Do you know where I could get the 2023 original? I agree completely with you. 2024 looks cheap
I guess it depends what country you are located. Some online retailers still have some of the 2023 in stock
I have the fan version and yeah I immediately noticed that the WC patch was quite bad in comparison to my 3 star one with the patch I bought in Argentina. The patch feels so high quality so I'm quite disappointed
Yeah it’s the World Cup patch they should’ve put more love into it!
How do i know if it is High Quality
Are you going to put the world cup qualifying 26 patch or copa america patch ?
Most likely I will do Copa America! But I’m also wondering if they are going to wear the Copa America Champions center patch or the World Cup Champions patch 🤔
I love the wall. How’d you create it ?
Thanks!! I wish I recorded me setting it up because it was quite the process. Maybe one day I’ll make a video explaining how I did it!
I think this year, and this year for the first time, there is a major difference in the collar between the replica and authentic versions of the shirt. Before, it has always been the same, but I guess adidas are altering the replica kit to steer more people towards the authentic one. Pretty sad imo because I always preferred replicas for their near perfect resemblance of the player versions.
I bought both replica and authentic for the 2022 versions that came out last year but this one I decided to just get the replica, at least it has embroidered logo. The authentic has a super thin World champions badge and logo😆 Definitely looks more like a sticker.
I dont think its region, I'm in Asia and its pretty much the same version we get here.
How tall are you? What size would you recommend for 6ft 190 lbs?
Would you be reviewing the away kit as well?
I would like to! But I’m probably going to wait a bit before getting that one!
Already bought mine online with Messi’s name and number, supposed to be coming in the mail
Did you get authentic or replica?
@@nutmegcityfc Replica👍
Where did you buy your World Cup trophy you have in the background?
I got it online after the World Cup but it’s been sold out since I got mine I’m pretty sure I got the last one. It was $100 though so it wasn’t cheap lol
Anyone know where I can get the an Authentic 2022 Messi World Cup jersey (player version) Too many dupes out there.
that's awesome
Thanks!!
no problem@@nutmegcityfc
So will Argentina be rocking the World Cup badge or the copa America badge given they’re current holders of the title?
Can you do a review of brazil shirt?
wait a second, you have france 2022 shirt, oh wait, no changes there...
The authentic version sold in Argentina is the same one you analyzed.
Player versions always had the badges with that material, because of the weight and heat.
It's not something new on this jersey. They started doing this around 2010s or maybe before.
And the players versions aren't meant to be used and washed many times, so the filmsy cheap sticker badge and adidas logo aren't a problem.
For us, normal people, it is a problem if you will wear and wash the jersey, as we do.
Absolutely not true. They've been using slightly thick, soft plastic-like material for the badge and Adidas logo for years. World cup badge also had thickness and detail height. It might've been a thing in the past (I know Nike used this thin material years ago, Barcelona 2011-12 for example) but only Puma used thin patches in their Drycell tech - not Adidas or Nike. Badges were heat-pressed in match kits but not this thin - only in Adidas training kits.
Wow, that is actually very annoying and I get your point
i bought the stadium jersey, the stitched one in Australia. the neck stitching finish is shocking, i went to 7 different stores to exchange it and 90% of them had crooked stitching. being Argentinian and planning on keeping the jersey for a long time it's dissapointing that the legit one looks like a fake version.
Can you review Argentina shorts authentic?
I don’t plan on getting the shorts but I will say I’m not a fan of the shorts especially the blue away shorts!
To clarify, the player's t-shirt is meant to be used a couple of times before being changed. It features stitches, logos, etc., made of comfortable and lightweight materials. On the other hand, the fan t-shirt is made of more durable materials, designed to withstand multiple uses and washes, with better stitches, logos, etc. Both are original; when referring to replicas, it means a t-shirt that is not made by Adidas
Does the normal one have the good patches then?
The replica/fan version has the standard badges but the same World Cup center patch
@@nutmegcityfc thanks
I feel Adidas is shortchanging the fans with this one.
I look at it at the store yesterday and I saw it and I thought it was the fan version cuz of the material look very cheap and nope it was the authentic version. I think is a major downgrade with the logos. Is horrible to be honest compare it with the clubs authentic version of this year and you’ll see the difference in the material is night and day
Definitely a downgrade!
I checked one out yesterday. They feel cheap, like one of those crazy Hindu copies, hard pass. 2022 is goated, it's like a superhero suit.
2021 Copa America is still my favorite design wise!
anyone know where i can get the away jersey with garnacho on it?
I know on the adidas website you can add a name and number on the home jersey but for some reason you can’t on the away one. Hopefully soon!
I give a 5/10. I have no problem with the early 2000's style, it just seems like they took the worse from the era and redid it. I think the shorts save the kit from total abomination.
I was really excited when I bought it when I first released and was extremely disappointed when I got it. It was a little too short and felt like a replica. It’s so much of a downgrade compared to the 2022 and 2021 which are amazing
If Argentina win copa 2024, i will buy this jersey. To be honest, Logos on jersey look cheap
Yeah I feel like them winning the Copa America will be the only reason people will buy this one and sell out! I am excited to see what the Copa America patches look like maybe it will bring it up a notch!
I will wear it while they win the copa america. We are not the same 👔
I would buy it now. Once it sells out on adidas it’s going to be hard to find it for retail. Plus if they win…good luck
I think Adidas was just trying to make a more much softer Jersey as I have the Italy and the away Argentina Long sleeve player issue kits and they have the same sticker crest and Adidas logo but is weird cuz on both Germany home and away kits the german logo crest is made of 3d texture printed, same with the Costa Rica Kit despite is the aeroready technology not the heat rdy and it also has the Fedefut logo crest in 3d printed believe ir or not... things Adidas make no one gets 😐
Authentics have pretty much always had worse badges, whether stickers or heat pressed plastic. Why I prefer replicas with name and number, at the end of the day the price is crazy and it is all about just rinsing for $$.
I feel like puma has been in that category of not having good authentic kits for a while and sucks to see adidas kind of making that turn now
The version for fans is of better quality than the version for footballers that you are showing in the video, and all the patches or logos are embroidered and cost half the price
Fan version is the way to go!
I completely disagree, I bought the authentic Argentina home kit and the new Peru home kit (which is only being sold with the fan replica version for some reason) and the difference in quality is insane! Apart from the badges, the authentic Argentina jersey feels soooo much nicer comfortable and light weight compared to the Peru fan replica which has a mesh type field which u can immediately tell has cheaper quality. That’s why I’m waiting for the authentic Peru version to come out so I can return the fan replica 😭 the extra $50 is worth it, yea the badges aren’t that good in quality but the shirt material is. Also the new adidas authentic logo on the bottom is sick too and easily stands out
Yeah I agree with that. My complaint is only on the badges. At the end of the video I tried on the jersey and I said it felt very comfortable and maybe even more comfortable than the 2022 kit. Would’ve been a 10/10 if it wasn’t for the badges
Hmm I don't like this one
Maybe the WC 26 kit will be better!
Agreed
I wonder why they downgraded everything. Even the material of the shirt is almost identical to the replica version. Only reason i can think of is that they had to meet a certain supply and couldnt make better ones in time for copa america
Yeah I have no clue what the reason is! Maybe we should all contact customer service and ask! 😂
The reason the authentic badges are like that too make them lighter . The authentic is meant to be played in . So it has to have least weight possible so badges are thin and light . :)
It's too much of an insignificant difference to be that
I wish they'd put the texturing on the replicas. I only get the replicas because I like the higher quality badges but they always look so plain and bland.
Starting to understand why Germany didn’t resign with adidas 🤣
I can tell you Adidas Germany also has the same version of it that you have 🙈 however the authentic Germany shirt has the formerly used “3D prints” as you call them! 🤷♂️
Well that’s not fair!! 😂 but I’m glad not every adidas shirt has the cheap prints!!
I feel like maybe adidas thinks that bc Argentina won the world cup that everyone is gonna buy this shirt and so to cut cost and maybe faster production times to keep up with demand they went with those type of patches which as you've stated is just disappointing man personally I bought the replica myself bc there's no point in buying the authentic for me especially when there's no extra added detail or something that makes the authentic feel more special and now that adidas has done this definitely not worth buying the authentic version of this kit
@@Rafael.F28 that’s a very interesting theory! I like it!
Bro why are you guys complaining theyre for performance 😂 if they wanted to make it more quality theyd use heavier materials
We are complaining because we paid $150 therefore we expect quality. Past shirts also had heat pressed badges but they were good quality. This one is just a vinyl heat transfer material.
Does anyone know why South American World Cup winners use a plastic material for the FIFA WC patch winners? European teams use felt right!
Copied Puma
Yeah seriously 🤣
The entire desing looks weird in my opinion.. it looks like low division jerseys from Argentina.. i don't see the Adidas quality on this one.. if it was Joma or Umbro it would make more sense
Its time Argentina drops Adidas, we are world champions and the kits have been terrible for a long time. Last truly great jerseys were all the way back from WC98!!
Thats crazy, Adidas is the best kit designer.
@@chiztu For Germany, sure. Not so much for Argentina.
Argentina will never drop adidas and I don’t want them to either but they definitely need to go back to the drawing board and rethink how they are making their jerseys!
Don’t take this as personal criticism, it’s just a comment/wish from someone who has almost 900 original shirts, but has never paid more than 50 euros for one (actually I recently paid 49 for one, and my previous top was 39 euros). Here it goes: I wish no one bought a shirt paying the full price, be it a “replica” or an “authentic” version of a shirt. Good for you and for aaanyone else who can afford to pay 100, 130, 150 dollars for a shirt that has JUST come out, but… with all due respect, by doing so, you are becoming part of the problem, you are feeding the companies’ greed. Any serious market specialist will tell you that the companies charge not what a shirt is worth, but what they feel is an “acceptable” price by enough people worldwide. I repeat, good for anyone who can afford 150 dollars on a freshly-released shirt, it’s your money, you can do whatever you want with it, but no one can convince me that this way you are not becoming part of the problem with today’s jersey pricing.
As for the shirt, I actually love how Adidas shot their own foot by applying those cheap-looking badges, because I hope that… X number of people will watch your video and think “f*ck, that looks cheap”, and skip buying the shirt for 150 dollars, and not just that, but they will tell their friends as well, and gradually enough negative publicity will be spread to hurt Adidas’ sales. I’m not anti-capitalism and anti-profit, but I am strongly against anti-greed, and when a simple piece of fabric, with cheap badges applied on it, reaches 150 dollars, that’s GREED. I wish we all agreed on that.
Looks really nice, enjoy the new addition to the collection. :-)
I agree the colors look nice on it but looks rather boring
Yeah 100% end of season sales is when everyone should be picking up all these shirts instead of paying full price for them and that’s even more true now with how expensive they are getting and yet quality is not improving with the price increase!
Lòng sleeve version is better but still looks like a cheap Chinese knock-off.
I will 200% stick with
the replica version, as honestly it will be much more durable over the corse of time.
They must have seen you coming when you bought this authentic, honestly, for the authentic it looks cheap & and nasty. Adidas are scaming people how how are buying these authentics it will not be me.
If the next authentic kit also looks cheap I will riot!
All in all, worst quality than the prior.
Muy mala calidad la version jugador
portugal jersey is better
Bruh it's litterally plain red...
The "authentic" shirts made by nike and adidas are complete Garbage!!!!
Just buy the replica
Went I went to the adidas store I saw the new kits and I was like this shit looks so cheap 😭. All badges are heat pressed which is kinda wack. Glad to see you also agree 🫡
Yeah definitely get the replica they look better!
