nice video dude! i rly like ur reviews! Im from Argentina and as u know we got the same low quality badges and logo for this shirt. Another thing to check is that the european national adidas kits got a pattern knit on the fabric but Argentina one only have it at the sides. Im rly dissapointed on adidas new jerseys qualities… the 2022-2023 kits are the top quality jerseys ive ever seen made from adidas, logo, shoulder stripes, fabric. Hope this info is usefull for ur reviews~ btw the logos should be TPU like the adidas badge at the bottom and old kits.

  • @toonistiny

1:18: I can only come up with one reason this could exist.
It would likely be to protect a player's neck from getting hit or perhaps a hard collision from the back where your spine is most vulnerable, the little pad thing there absorbing part of the force. Knowing how common injuries are in this sport, that kind of small addition to the design could go some ways in helping the players stay that little bit more safe.

  • @rainyeyesparty

Yeah. Those vynil patches ruined the jersey. I bought the replica for 2022 (both 2 and 3 stars) and I wanted to finally buy a player version but this patches detail is kinda disappointing. But ngl, the golden design is also kinda intriguing.

Replica is a Fan Version with a more Casual cut you can get both from Adidas mostly authentic is 150€ and Replica 100. The Last ones are Fakes or counterfeits which arent Made from Adidas but If you get them from some Sites they Look also good sometimes especially If you dont have much Money.

I think this year, and this year for the first time, there is a major difference in the collar between the replica and authentic versions of the shirt. Before, it has always been the same, but I guess adidas are altering the replica kit to steer more people towards the authentic one. Pretty sad imo because I always preferred replicas for their near perfect resemblance of the player versions.

Player versions always had the badges with that material, because of the weight and heat.
It's not something new on this jersey. They started doing this around 2010s or maybe before.
And the players versions aren't meant to be used and washed many times, so the filmsy cheap sticker badge and adidas logo aren't a problem.
For us, normal people, it is a problem if you will wear and wash the jersey, as we do.

    • @ussjems
      @ussjems Před 2 měsíci +5

Absolutely not true. They've been using slightly thick, soft plastic-like material for the badge and Adidas logo for years. World cup badge also had thickness and detail height. It might've been a thing in the past (I know Nike used this thin material years ago, Barcelona 2011-12 for example) but only Puma used thin patches in their Drycell tech - not Adidas or Nike. Badges were heat-pressed in match kits but not this thin - only in Adidas training kits.

To clarify, the player's t-shirt is meant to be used a couple of times before being changed. It features stitches, logos, etc., made of comfortable and lightweight materials. On the other hand, the fan t-shirt is made of more durable materials, designed to withstand multiple uses and washes, with better stitches, logos, etc. Both are original; when referring to replicas, it means a t-shirt that is not made by Adidas

I completely disagree, I bought the authentic Argentina home kit and the new Peru home kit (which is only being sold with the fan replica version for some reason) and the difference in quality is insane! Apart from the badges, the authentic Argentina jersey feels soooo much nicer comfortable and light weight compared to the Peru fan replica which has a mesh type field which u can immediately tell has cheaper quality. That’s why I’m waiting for the authentic Peru version to come out so I can return the fan replica 😭 the extra $50 is worth it, yea the badges aren’t that good in quality but the shirt material is. Does anyone know why South American World Cup winners use a plastic material for the FIFA WC patch winners? European teams use felt right!

The entire desing looks weird in my opinion.. it looks like low division jerseys from Argentina.. i don't see the Adidas quality on this one.. if it was Joma or Umbro it would make more sense

Its time Argentina drops Adidas, we are world champions and the kits have been terrible for a long time. Last truly great jerseys were all the way back from WC98!!

Argentina will never drop adidas and I don’t want them to either but they definitely need to go back to the drawing board and rethink how they are making their jerseys!

Don’t take this as personal criticism, it’s just a comment/wish from someone who has almost 900 original shirts, but has never paid more than 50 euros for one (actually I recently paid 49 for one, and my previous top was 39 euros). Here it goes: I wish no one bought a shirt paying the full price, be it a “replica” or an “authentic” version of a shirt. Good for you and for aaanyone else who can afford to pay 100, 130, 150 dollars for a shirt that has JUST come out, but… with all due respect, by doing so, you are becoming part of the problem, you are feeding the companies’ greed. Any serious market specialist will tell you that the companies charge not what a shirt is worth, but what they feel is an “acceptable” price by enough people worldwide. I repeat, good for anyone who can afford 150 dollars on a freshly-released shirt, it’s your money, you can do whatever you want with it, but no one can convince me that this way you are not becoming part of the problem with today’s jersey pricing.
As for the shirt, I actually love how Adidas shot their own foot by applying those cheap-looking badges, because I hope that… X number of people will watch your video and think “f*ck, that looks cheap”, and skip buying the shirt for 150 dollars, and not just that, but they will tell their friends as well, and gradually enough negative publicity will be spread to hurt Adidas’ sales. I’m not anti-capitalism and anti-profit, but I am strongly against anti-greed, and when a simple piece of fabric, with cheap badges applied on it, reaches 150 dollars, that’s GREED. I wish we all agreed on that.
Looks really nice, enjoy the new addition to the collection. :-)

Yeah 100% end of season sales is when everyone should be picking up all these shirts instead of paying full price for them and that’s even more true now with how expensive they are getting and yet quality is not improving with the price increase!

    I will 200% stick with
the replica version, as honestly it will be much more durable over the corse of time.
They must have seen you coming when you bought this authentic, honestly, for the authentic it looks cheap & and nasty. Adidas are scaming people how how are buying these authentics it will not be me.

Went I went to the adidas store I saw the new kits and I was like this shit looks so cheap 😭. All badges are heat pressed which is kinda wack. Glad to see you also agree 🫡
