To a good player the claws are wayyyy more of a threat. Literally some of, if not the best trade potential in the game
â@@Adam-tu1qx they're also bugged, the hitbox on th r2 appears before the attack animation occurs, making them ridiculously fast and hard to dodge.

I love how since Chase started using the Uplifting Aromatic, he's also started adopting the various enemies he buffs with it as his friends/teammates for his invasions and tries to keep them alive.
They are basically your team mates when invading, just Robin Chase and the Merry men squad of NPCs hunting Le Hosts of Nottingham.
Him using Uplifting Aromatic is fun to watch, but it always saddens me that I can't use them as liberally as he can, due to crafting.

Anyone remember the days of the original Glintstone Pebble true combo? I realized I haven't used it since then, it used to be "the counter" to pre-nerf Rivers of Blood (and, frankly, anything else that would ever get hit), but was especially vicious on int builds. Waves of Darkness feels like a leftover from that era, quietly delivering lethal damage, but not enough int builds carry it to make anyone at From worried about it.
The hitstun on the pebble was insane, and the damage was so high. I one shot a lot of people that way
â@@raijinoflimgrave8708I'm a little sad with how much they nerfed it. Would have prefered if the pebble stunned, but led to a roll catch instead of a true combo that it had. The dash from the stab follow up shouldn't have been nerfed, and makes the skill feel odd.

Want a fun fact about the darkmoon greatsword.
When one handing it the second swing of the light combo consumes no stamina for some reason.
Also the second swing into the third swing is a true combo (as long as they don't poise through it of course).
Now setting this up is pretty much entirely luck based, but it's something to know.

I have so many builds but my Strength Intelligence one is the build I come back to most often, especially for invasions. Magic scaled waves of darkness is so good against teams. The only downside to Int builds is missing out on some of the best faith weapons in the game like Blasphemous Blade, Vykes War Spear, and St Trinaâs Torch đ„
17:45 Oh my God, thank you for that sanity check. I could have sworn my Darkmoon beam was passing straight through phantoms before fading if they were just within the limit of its range. Seeing that from the other end explains a whole lot.
Yeah projectile attacks can sometimes seem to hit on one players screen but not at all on the others. Sometimes im hit by the comet sorcery and take no damage because im running sideways and it slightly hit me on my screen but not on theirs.
You know... I never realized my top 2 favorite weapons are str/int until just now. Guess I never really thought about it before, but both the Moonlight Greatsword, and Deaths Poker have extremely satisfying ashes to use in pve AND pvp!
PS: Given my extensive use of the Moonlight GS, it seems to me like the hyper armor kicks in with the R2s right as you swing the sword, after the wind-up. That's the ONLY time I haven't been knocked out of the animation.

I completely agree with stopping the status procs from hitting you through your dodge rolls. That would also nerf blasphemous blade, because it would stop it's healing, but it doesn't seem to matter how tanky I am, if they get a blender off. I'm most likely going to die without the crimson tear that heals me when I get low health. The worst teams are those who abuse sleep and bleed combos. If one of the three has frost then it gets even worse too.
Idk there is something special in seeing Chase as a wizard for a change. Miss the Cannon of Haima one-shots lol

Chase the scythe doesnt go through shields. It can do damage behind shields with the correct spacing but at 10:12 you just did damage because you are using an int build.
Everytime I watch chase, I feel like I could win every invasion. But when I actually do, I'm dogshit. Even tho I've played for so long now

Build idea for a thing we dont see very often :
Int/faith with prince of deat staf and golden order seal
Sorcery : the good death sorcery one + carian slicer or Hammer. Fia mist can kill easily in pvp inside walls.Golden order incantations and maybe catch flamme. You can get very good combo with int/faith casting
Weapons : Ranni's sword or a death bird weapon or a frozen scythe
Bonus for wearing Fia's dress for the sorcerer of death rp. Not the most meta but very fun and rare I think. Sorry for the limited english .. Love your channel

Hi chase, Iâm thinking about starting a new eleven ring playthrough specifically for pvp, I havenât played the game in about 2 years after completing it back then. If you donât mind me asking what level should I be for pvp? I was above level 150 and didnât get many invasions or anything, and how do you try so many different builds, wouldnât you run out of larval tears?
Make a master save and upload it to the cloud. Download it anytime you need to reset, or resupply.

Chase you should try using the spell eternal darkness on your wizard build, its so good against int and faith ganks because it sucks up their spells
