In the middle section each one of his 4 limbs were playing 4 different beats at the same time. Not human
Danny was 61 or 62 when he played this. His nickname is the octopus. Saw them on tour last rest. The singer Maynard in in the forefront of the video "Tool - Sober Live (Pro Shot) Remastered"
Wow… he is absolutely good, it was mind blowing watching him play, it a lot of work with drumming.
He was 59. Born in May 1961

Never gets old. 1st time he played this song live & I believe he was like 58 in this video. IMO he's right up there with Bonham & the Professor. There's many more they're just personal favorites.

I've watched this Danny Carey performance several times and I still feel totally amazed by it.
If you haven't listened to much Tool you should check more of their songs out. They are an incredible band.
Ren and Tool are my go to bands!
