29:54 😯... You don't know how much I needed to hear this. I'm trying to strengthen my friendship with a woman who I feel more could happen with. Though my lifelong MDD is having me beat myself up because despite my age I have no very very little relationship experience. 😣 So I've been praying for it to happen sooner, despite feeling it's going to take awhile (even up to a year) for a date.
...I've basically been asking for a sign. 🤦 Instead of trusting in what God has told me.
I pray to hold on and not lose the special and unique friendship with this woman.

Boy, I miss the glory days of scripture central SO MUCH!!! Everything was bright. There was beautiful and inspiring art on the walls you could see and ponder upon. Everything wasn't plunged into darkness and punctuated by annoying music. Not to mention the dream teaching team of Taylor and Tyler!!! I am loving these revisits more than I can say!

@scripturecentralofficial I have loved Scripture Central since I found it about a year or so ago. I still do love it. But I did unsubscribe because I find it mostly too hard to watch currently. The Lord Jesus Christ is literally light. Yet, the trend is towards plunging everything in the dark. It's not just on SC, it's on nearly every latter-day saint channel. I dislike that very much. I think that it drives away the spirit. And I enjoy and find meaning in the artwork on the walls. If the teacher is teaching about the Lord Jesus Christ and you can look at a painting of Him while you listen, it helps bring the spirit.
Think about the presentation of the endowment. They show lovely pictures of the Lord Jesus Christ and it enhances the experience. Music has a unique ability to speak to the soul and art has that same quality.
I absolutely adore Jack Welch and Lynn H. Wilson, but it is difficult for me to feel the spirit because on that program, they have some hip music playing at ever chapter change or whenever. It is jolting to me and annoying and further drives away the spirit.
I thought that you had perfection with two giants in the gospel (Taylor and Tyler) teaching in a bright room, with lovely pictures around, and a lack of interrupting and annoying music. I absolutely loved those earlier videos and recommended them to everyone!! 😊
I know that Taylor and Tyler have covered all of the standard works of the church and have moved on to other projects, but I hope that they can one day find a project to collaborate on again. They are so perfect together. Tyler Griffin is one of my favorite teachers in the whole church.
Scripture central has so many brilliant and amazing teachers. I simply wish that less attention was paid to slick marketing methods and more attention was paid to those things that invite the holy spirit to be present and testify of truth and enlighten minds.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! By way of explanation, we pulled the pictures from the walls due to copyright issues, and the studio being darker is an attempt to make things less busy on screen. We know that making things darker is trendy, but you might be happy to notice that we made the studio much brighter than it was last year. The golden warm tones in Tyler’s videos symbolize the dawning of a new day and the light that comes forth from a profound scripture study. We hope you will continue to enjoy our content and be patient with us as we continue to iterate and improve moving forward! 😊
