Here’s what’s REALLY interesting about this exact F430 (at least for me). I grew up in San Antonio, and would go with my dad fairly regularly to the dealership where this car was sold to drool over the cars. If this car is an ‘05, I would have been 7 or 8 when this car was sold. That being said, I have almost no doubt whatsoever that I saw this car in person, brand new in the dealership, when I was a kid. Soooo crazy.

I mean it is a good project car I guess. My uncle got an F430 for 70k. It had 34k miles on it with a cracked up intake manifold and the bumper was missing a few bolts. He got all that fixed up with in 3 weeks and sold it that month for 125k. U just gotta find the right one.

Talk about steering wheel play I had a CJ7 with big tires and the steering box was worn out it would start drifting on the highway and you had to turn the steering wheel a lot to bump it to the left or right to stay in a lane drove it up and down the East Coast pulling a trailer like that I did have a brand new steering box and tools that I thought I could swap out on the road if I needed to do so ironically when I did actually change the box it had a torx socket I didn’t even own as Torx were kind of a newly used fastener in those days
